Yeah haha, I’m sorry if this was wasn’t clear, but this was a remaster I did haha, sorry if that wasn’t clear again 😅 that’s why it’s kinda scuffed and not perfect lol, I don5 entirely know exactly what I’m doing, I just wanted to make something that sounded a tiny bit better than the original, whether that be pitch, tempo or anything, and I kinda succeeded, so I’m happy haha. :) Again I apologise if you thought this was official stuff from DP

Hey man, apologies, but as far as I’m aware there is no true HQ version of any of their Darlin’ songs anywhere. There shouldn’t be at least, I could well be wrong. The highest quality you can get of any of their roulé and crydamour solo recordings are still only as high quality as the vinyl itself can provide, this Darlin’ track is from before/around the time of their solo stuff and I have no idea how it was found in the first place (probably says in one of the video descriptions I’d imagine) or what quality these tracks were originally found on. But, to give you a short answer I legit just did a KZbin to mp3 download lmao. So you couldn’t get higher quality than that. And unfortunately, after getting a new iPad, I neglected to back up this file, so it is regretfully lost. I’d have to make a new one in the highest quality I could find. I still might do that, I’ve learned a lot more on the subject and actually feel confident I could do a decent job at it :) Thanks for reaching out regardless and I’m glad you liked the remaster nonetheless :)

Yeah! Thom and Guy-Man's first project was Darlin' a "rock" band that -surprisingly- failed lol. Jokes aside it was an alright gig they had. I would give you more information on it but I'd need to fact check it. If you didn't know about these tracks though, you should check out tracks from Round (thomas' solo project/record label) and Crydamour Waves/Le Knight Club (Guy-Man's solo project/record label)

@@Kristian.Ofsteng The band also had Laurent Brancowitz who is now a member of a band called Phoenix. They originally wanted to do rock music that had a tone similar to The Beach Boys’ music. In fact their band name is a reference to a Beach Boys song. But I guess Thomas and Guy-man started to do their own thing.
