This song speaks of falling irrevocably, unconditionally, head over heels do no wrong in love with yourself. It's an incredibly spiritual song, full of beauty. The angel eye is the way you see things when you reach this utterly unified enlightened state. The land of love. The third verse speaks of recognising you, as that love, as everything. No longer under the illusion of separation, you recognise you are everything. You are the light behind the clouds. You are the end and the beginning, a place where time is not allowed. This references back to the first verse, which speaks of finding your 'song' - which can be interpreted as purpose, truth, essence, Self et al, and how it was here before sound itself. In this unified state, psychological time is not present as we understand it. The recollections of 'past' and projections of 'future' fall away, beyond their most basic practical applications. The present moment is all there is, and the awe, wonder, magic, love and gratitude of this eternal moment, that you are it, there and that, is what this alludes to. The perfect song is rimmed with silence, this can both be peace of mind, no-mind, no thought and/or the practice of meditation - all of which speak of places never seen - of brand new sights to behold. Your home's a promise long forgotten (the land of love), and it is the birthplace of you and your dreams, which you are also; a dream. There's no such thing as competition - when the absolute unitive, wondrous, blissful state of true love - not directed or absorbed from/to an external entity, only to yourself, being both the worshipper and worshipped - competition is utterly irrelevant and unnecessary. It isn't required. To find a way we'll lose control. The way to get there/here is to surrender the illusion of control as we understand it. This whole song is about finding out who and what you are in a spiritual sense. Love's our only mission, and it is a journey of the soul. I love Daft Punk. I love you.

I feel like this song especially, but this whole album is so much a reflection of their life and journey. It brings to mind seeing an old musician, loved by all, but matured beyond the rave and craze that they loved and perfected. You find them in an lounge, holding the instruments they have loved, caressing beauty from their battered forms. They play one or two of the old favorites, showing that they still have that fire inside them, but this time they entice the room to join in the melody and bring them closer to the music. Around these moments, they take that same skill and fervor and mold it into a groove that is still distinctly theirs, but less wildfire and more fireplace. It is a warm feeling as they pour out the lessons they have learned and do that thing that they love one more time.

Close your eyes....and.....rise!!!!! To a world of untold beauty and grace, where YOU are in control and your heart leads you to places never seen . Your dreams will be rediscovered if you invite the music into your heart and you...will...find...your...song. This is how daft punk makes me feel. And I'm sure I'm not alone. Thank you for giving life to so many people daft punk!!! You two gentlemen are truly my heroes!!!!!

To me, the faint guitar in the backround gives the song softness and coziness. Also, I imagine Thomas and Guy-Man playing guitars together and it's such a lovely image

Dream Beyond dream Beyond life You will find Your Song Before sound To be found Close your eyes And Rise Higher still Endless thrill To the land Of Love Beyond love Come alive Angel eye Forever watching you and I You are the night You are the ocean You are the light behind the cloud You are the end and the beginning A world where time is not allowed There's no such thing as competition To find our way we lose control Remember love's our only mission This is a journey of the soul The perfect song is framed with silence It speaks of places never seen Your home's a promise long forgotten It is the birthplace of your dreams

This is the first song I listen to at the beginning of every road trip, and it's beyond (ha) perfect for setting the mood. Having the intro begin as we take off and watching the tall trees move by in broad daylight with the blue skies is really something else.

Spring 2013... Out of high school, almost yesterday. Second semester as a CS freshman. There is a great life ahead, supposedly. I just need to reach and take it. Smiling... Listening to this album, looking at the horizon. Closing my eyes. Then opening and here I am, the bitter reality of 2024.

I was literally listening to you guys last night, and this last week. I honestly can't believe that this would happen, especially with all that you've guys done together. I even remember when you guys released "Get Lucky" on my birthday on KZbin and me always jamming too it even last night. You guys were truly iconic, and legendary. A duo that will always be remembered for its memorable iconic and legendary moments which in my opinion were one of the best duos ever. Thank you for everything, you guys did, you will truly be missed Daft Punk. I honestly didn't expect this to happen so early, but like they always say every great thing always has a start and then an end. Truly missed and one of the best artists in history. Glad to have been able to exprience them throughout all these years & to hear them. All the best to the both of them as they take on their seperate ways. 😭🤧👏💫👑🔝🙏👑
