Lets be honest with ourselves. They beat the game. Most music duos or groups dont get a happy closing of the books. They go out in a rage of hellfire & fast lifestyles or end up splitting over varying differences or record companies simply taking advantage. Daft Punk? They made all the greatest tunes they could, and now its their time to enjoy the fruits of life & hard work without worrying about tours, content ect. They won. Whatever youre doing out there today, remember your passions, your hobbies. Go after them, be methodical & you too can come out the other side clean. It seems futile sometimes, but life is a chance not worth disregarding. Win that game.

Electroma is one of the best films I have ever seen. I feel so identified with it, with the idea, with the message: trying NOT to fit in a world that demands everybody to be the same, where evrybody does the same. No room for being your own. Coming back to this after almost 2 years.... To Robot 1 and Robot 2, I want to say thank you for giving me such wonderful experiences throughout the decades of my life. I fell in love with Daft Punk when I first heard Homework in the mid 1990's (I was MAYBE 10 at the time) and Discovery was the first album that I recall being giddy with anticipation prior to it's release. Daft Punk almost single handedly expanded my mind and heart with your music and, although you are gone, we still have your music and the memories to always think of you with a smile on our faces. Much like a close friend who has passed, you may not be here, but you are not gone. You live on in all of those who cherish the music you shared with the world. How fitting the words to "Epilogue" are as they play on repeat towards the end of your goodbye: "Hold on, if love is your answer, you're home," God speed Daft Punk and thank you for letting so many of us find a home in your music.

Two Years Later Watching This Video, And Crying Again, Hardly Believing They Really Are Gone. I'm not mature enough to accept that they're really gone, and I couldn't even see them. - Daft Punk I Love Them. Even if you don't even know about my existence, you are part of mine!
@grantpine49399 ай бұрын
I remember being 4 or 5, hearing One More Time for the first time on the radio. Then on CD. Learning of the group Daft Punk in my later adolescence and becoming almost obsessed; my first electronic group that I genuinely was aware of. Watching KZbin videos of Alive 2007 and swearing to go to one of their concerts in my lifetime from then. Any music library I had, be it physical or digital, included Daft Punk to some degree. Even their music that I wasn't particularly a fan of, I still enjoyed. I held off from watching this for two years, and finally I witness the end. I won't lie, it brought a tear to my eye. But gods be damned if I'm not thankful to have known of their existence in my life. Daft Punk will forever take residence in my life, and when my partner and I have kids I'll introduce them to one of the best music groups of all time. Daft Punk helped form the adult I am today, and for that I'm grateful. Thank you Thomas Bangalter, and thank you Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo; you guys changed my life. Also, thank you anybody who stuck around through this rambling. You earn my respect.
