I wish people would actually dress like this again! Especially to clubs or parties. I was born in 1999 but I just think there’s something so great about the style from the 60’s-70’s. Fun and eye catching yet still classic and stylish. Clothes made for dancing to good music and having fun! I get sick of seeing people my age wear sweats and snap backs to the club or True Religion jeans and Canada Goose vests, or even straight up lingerie and leggings! I guess you can’t really dance a lot to today’s music but, that’s what I love so much about Daft Punk’s approach to this album, how they wanted to pay homage to the older music styles they grew up listening to. Magical things happen when people infuse the past into the future! ❤️

I have so many feelings about this song. 1. I love the continuity it draws to the origins of house/dance music and geniuses like Nile Rodgers. 2. This song could have easily been made 40 years ago, and shows how music can be timeless. 3. Pharrell is one of the dopest and coolest artists out there and I love the collaboration with him. 4. This is arguably the best track on the album and definitely what ultimately gave it such critical acclaim. 5. I LOVE DAFT PUNK!!!

_Random Access Memories_ - this really is an ingenious choice for the album's name. Just imagine how witty it actually sounds and means in the context of their works and what they really represents. A perfect metaphor for the synthesis between technology/electronic and emotions/feelings. Well, Daft Punk actually is pretty much embodiment of this kind of philosophy.
