Part of why i love this album so much is because of the idea that as a collective Humanity does't freak out, or try to kill the Crescendolls. Instead the nations of the world teamed up to send them home. And they even get to stay in contact with them forming an 'interstellar' friendship. :)

Well, it helps that they were already the most popular band in the world at that time. Imagine if one of the most popular current bands was revealed to be aliens, hard to imagine all the adoration they already have would just disappear, which would make it pretty hard for a government to try to exploit them as they probably would otherwise.
@Nevir2027 жыл бұрын
Krazy Stargazer definitely a best case scenario, I'm just saying that it's far more likely to happen for aliens that were already famous than ones they just randomly crash landed or something like that.

The clearing of the samples used in this record, must have driven the admin of the lables crazy...Their ability to splice sooo many samples and mash them together in order to compile one song...I have taken a look at their technique, seriously knowing the exact 2 bars of a song, stretching them out, adding a bassline, EQing the samples and then adding them to a tracklist...It takes magical ears to pick those up and knowing what the psychological impact it can leave on a listener when looping those samples Daft Punk are GOATS

Interstella is a beautiful movie because everything about it exemplifies the extent to which music connects life and has the power to break down all boundaries that divide us. It's a movie made by a Japanese studio and a French band who sing in English. However, it's message is universal, and is one that doesn't need dialogue. It shows the corruption of the greedy who tarnish and use music for personal gain, and contrasts it with how those who show genuine passion for their own work or the work of others can unite in such meaningful ways. Daft Punk and Toei made something really unique, timeless, and powerful.

@Lumine Moon The Earth in the video seems more advanced since this movie was made i think in the early 2000s and assuming it takes place in the early 2000s there are some things i find very impressive like the big technological structure that they use to restore the band's memories.

Face to face What's going on? Could this be my understanding It's not your fault I was being too demanding I must admit it's my pride that made me distant All because I hoped that you'd be someone different There's not much I know about you Fear will always make you blind But the answer is in clear view It's amazing what you'll find face to face I turned away because I thought you were the problem Tried to forget until I hit the bottom But when I faced you in my blank confusion I realized you weren't wrong, it was a mere illusion It really didn't make sense Just to leave this unresolved It's not hard to go the distance when you finally get involved face to face Cara a cara ¿Qué sucede?

the background instrument that starts at 2:53 sounds like a flute or some type of woodwind inst . I had never noticed it before now i love this song even more!

It's the marking of the climax of the song. It helps a lot to convey the feeling of the goodbye. I think. You need good speakers/headsets to even notice that.

This is also a damn good song. I also love the message, that music binds us together even when we are from different worlds and we would work hard to help the ones who brought us so much joy in music.
