It makes much more sense to me to keep expanding with grapes. It was kinda frustrating watching you flounder about with no money trying to establish a vineyard, and now that you have a half decent one and all the equipment you need, you're abandoning it for olives and trees. Maybe try and get the cereal factory before doing olives, you would still be exploring the new content in the productions, and it would "finish" the grape chain you've worked so hard for.

It'd be good to see cereal in action. I'm fairly new to the map but already have a half decent vineyard. I built mine in the top half of field 40. I'm going to combine 41 + 42 into a single field, and have combined 38 + 39 into another. Those two new super fields will be my oats + corn, and the honey is pretty much done. Cereal is a good challenge without being ridiculous IMO. Loving the let's play series btw, keep up the great work (Y)

For harvesting grapes from first person, it looks like you can maintain your line by aligning the armrest with the vines. This likely is not an accident. Most tractors will include indicia for alignment, and a lot of times they will incorporate them into the design of existing/necessary elements like posts, bends, seams, etc.

Hey Dagger! I just started watching your videos a week ago, and so far im absolutely hooked on them. Finnished off your vintage series inbetween episodes. Much appreciate your work and hours of entertainment. I agree with many of the other comments about holding off the Olive farm for a later series, maybe. What I would like to see you do though, expand on the chicken farm. Buying another one of the big ones. As I saw from other youtubers they can earn 100k+++ just from a «couple of months» from the eggs. They seem redicilously overpowered compared to other things. After you get big incomes from the chickens. I think it would be interressting to see you expand on the sheeps, making clothes.

Thank you! Really loving this series especially the 2 episodes per day, what a treat! I know nothing about fs22 apart from what I have seen in this series but it definitely seems like the economy is a lot harsher. We are on episode 30 and still have the base tractors. As much as I enjoy all the different crops, It would be great to see some bigger operations. For example as much as I would like to see the olives, i suspect it will be very similar to the grapes and have another massive upfront cost with the purchasing of the actual Olive groves as well as the leasing of purchasing of the different harvester. Even with the collectibles progress seems a tad slow so I wonder if olives are the way to go. Although I understand that while doubling down on a single item like grapes or wheat would be the profitable thing to do, it wouldn’t exactly make the most engaging on content. I wonder if you were to invest a significant amount of money into multiple more chicken enclosures, the farm could gain a significant passive income enabling you to explore the different elements of the game like the olives or even cotton!

I have found some amazing spots on the map ... so many interesting little things tucked away if you just get out of the vehicles and wander around a bit ... and not just game cartridges ... but nice little touches like the shopping trolley graveyard.
@Streaky1000013 жыл бұрын
I think joining all those fields into one big super field would be awesome, but I feel like that would have to be a later game thing. The reason I say that is, if you join them all now and use them as one field you'll either be growing massive amounts of profit making crop, but not having any chicken food, or else you'd make waaaaaay too much chicken food, but no highly profitable crops. I guess if you can get enough money built up to absorb the cost of doing a pure wheat harvest for the first year, stockpile that as chicken feed for several years to come, then do profitable crops until you get short on chicken feed, and rinse and repeat.... I don't know..... it seems like it would be better to have a seperate field or fields that can just keep ticking over growing animal feeds. Of course, if you join them you'd also realistically need to find somewhere else for olive groves and trees and such. TL:DR: I think joining the fields would be awesome, but to make it practical I think you'd need to own at least one or 2 other fields first so you have room to do other things as well as whatever you grow in the super field.

Dagger, You can store your eggs in that little nook right where they all spawn. I know you're not keen on stacking them but it will hold 6 pallets in one layer and not intrude on the spawn location. If you decide you are OK with stacking they will easily stack 5 high in there or 30 full pallets in total. I stack them high then move the full stacks with a fork truck onto the curtain sider.

Love your content! Here's a tip for you. According to farmsim academys page, cultivators and plows only bring up small stones wich can be rolled back in the soil. Also you always seem to drive past those beatiful boats in the village dock. Don't know if you've visited them before but maybe you should ;)

When cultivating the edge of the grass like that, might be better to use a worker to keep it in a straight line but make sure to cancel it before it turns around. Probably the best way to avoid stripping the edge off the grass every time, making it slightly smaller every harvest

I went straight to mods this time for pallet autoloading. Manual loading is great fun! For a while. Then I like to think I get someone else to do it for me. Doing this, a single large greenhouse, kept empty by autoloading onto a trailer, nets about 40 pallets of strawberries OR 20 pallettes of tomatoes. Both sell for the same price though about 29k. If you do not clear out the pallette stacks they prodice less it seems.

Olive oil is pretty good price. Definitely the way to go if you grow olives in any significant scale. I think productions do cost if they are activated, even if there's nothing to process. Haven't tested though. The cost is so small it's rather insignificant, unless you run a really tight economy. There are 2 forests on this map, that you should check if you want to do forestry. You should also check them if you are interested in console cratridges :-)
