Hey. When you selected to plant the meadow on the goat pasture it deleted the grass you had planted. If you had said no, the grass would have constantly regrown and the goats would only need a small amount of grass bales when the grass runs out

On the subject of someone else’s comment of supporting by being a member I completely agree to there comments also as you have mention previously don’t underestimate how much and as daft as it sounds how vital these videos are to some people at helping them through difficult times. I personally leave your videos for a couple of episodes then when I am struggling they help me take myself away from the real world just for a short time. But never forget to burn yourself out and look after yourself too

I said this a couple episodes ago and I think it still would be your best option: I think you should take out a massive loan (500.000 +) and put a sawmill and cement factory on your plot where the stone crusher is. You will need it! The loan is only going to cost like 2-3000 a month (keep in mind that leasing the productions also costs about 2k) and it will be repaid in no time by selling all the products to the temple.

Hey Daggerwin. Enjoying the series. The pasture fences can be placed over woost any hill and around the trees, you just have to put it in short sections, if you get close to a tree it shows that it's restricted. If you place it carefully you can incorporate tree covered areas into your pasture. Keep up the good work!

The meadow bug is still there. I think that by planting the meadow, you negate the previous grass...we'll see. I plan to test this out in my series.

I had thought the reason for planting grass in the goat area was so they had better grass instead of meadow grass? I didn't do it myself, but I was thinking you plant the grass, then say no to meadow grass option, and then their encloser area has field grass for the grass growing months.

Happy New Year. I just started my first Hutan Pantai run. I started in a small forest near the temple (73). My plan is to only farm fields I create myself in the forested areas and try to sell everything (outside of temple materials) at a kiosk at the end of my driveway. I'll be the strange forest hermit. I did get the mod from modhub that adds a 36k tiny cement workstation (equivalent of all the other tiny ones) so I can (slowly) work on the temple and my constructible house and shed. But in many situations, the processing business will want a price per machine hour or in the case of the saw mill, per foot of board. Especially when they're processing 30k+ liters of lumber. I understand not wanting to get into the minutia of it though. A flat daily fee seems like a good compromise.

You could try the water distribution production. It's like 5K and will feed water to everything you have that needs it no matter where it is. Save you having to mess around with the big tanker all the time. Other than that, good vid as always.

1:20 I think it would be smarter to change the rule and just build your own cement factory on your own land where the stone crusher is, as soon as you can afford it. And then get rid of the placed cement factory or keep renting it.

I had the same problem after creating a path, it seems that I created a couple collisions after smoothing. Just smooth again and reload and it fixed it for me! Happy farming!

There are a lot of real life examples of renting businesses irl. When looking at agriculture the first that comes to mind is an abattoir. But construction companies count. You wouldn't buy a construction company just to build your house.

True, but the hang up is that a cement factory didn't exist on the map. Daggerwin made a promise to himself that he has to buy it when he's able as a compromise for putting it in.

@ntrong32 however, he said that once he reached 300k he'd buy it. He hadn't reached 300k. To get the money for the combine, he both got a loan and sold his old combine. If he had gotten the cement factory in the end, he would have been without a combine. I see it as "he didn't reach 300k, he got a loan to get a new combine, which pushed him over 300k. Had he not gotten the loan for the combine, he wouldn't have had the 300k." Irl if you use a loan for something other than the purpose you got it for, that's fraud. Daggerwin likes to pretend in some semblance of realism so I don't see a problem in the choice he made.

@@Falney I agree that in the end it's his rules and his play style. But he was able to bring in the harvest with the old combine. The old combine sale was also only 16k. The majority of his profit was from the mozzarella too, not the harvest. If you want to say that he didn't have money, he got a loan. You can also say that instead of getting a loan for the combine, he could have gotten a loan for the cement factory. IRL references don't matter either way I think. The only thing that matters is how Daggerwin wants to play and it seemed from my perspective this went against his self imposed rules. That said, only he knows what he truly meant when he interpreted that rule.

Just play your own game and let us enjoy it and who doesn’t like it, well they can start there own channel and own letsplay and do it differently. On the realistic note around 25:00, I dont agree with your rational though. If you farm wheat, sure you dont outright buy the bakery. But you also dont rent the bakery to produce you bread and you then sell. You sell your wheat you get the wheat price and that’s it. Same for barley, you will get barley money, not beer money. I don't mind about the rentals. But Daggerwin did give himself a rule that he had to buy them when he could afford to. But he is always using all the money so he never will be able to afford to. So what is the point in having the rule? He may as well keep renting forever because at this rate that is how it is going. Scrap the rule and move on. Then there would be less people commenting about buying the cement factory (maybe) and Daggerwin would be less bothered by the comments. He brought them on himself by making that rule to begin with.

The food capacity of the goat enclosure may be an issue when they get older, they may consume more food than the capacity of the trough in one month. However, this can most likely be resolved by leaving a bale and a water tanker emptying constantly into the troughs.

You have to reload the game for the issue with the road. Its just yet another issue in the ever growing list of fairly substantial bugs that it sometimes does not seem to update collision after doing landscaping until you reload the game.

Daggerwin just started playing today and with the machinery in the sale they have how much wear is on them and also permanent damage and engine wear which would all have an effect on servicing cost and if you play the long game can get some pretty new machine in it. Also on the production leasing i think you should set a rule of maybe 6 month or 1 year minimum lease rater than just taking it for a month or two when you need it

For the time saving stock checker, don't worry about what month is best to sell in. Just look for when the price is dark green. That lets you know it is within a margin of the best price and who is offering it.

I notice you said that you thought it was so interesting that the deer seemed tame around the tractor. We have lots of whitetail deer in my area and they are very very tame around the machinery. You can get much closer to them in the loader than you can on foot or in a vehicle. They learn that the machinery is fairly harmless and they see it all the time so they dont care much about it.

"Renting" the productions is more like paying/hiring the owner to process your product ... which is not unrealistic at all. But I still think it is a little bit to cheap, because buying the productions should be the cheaper way in the long run, like buying a tractor should be cheaper then renting it. Otherwise buying it would be pointless. And the cement factory is something around £1000 a month, lets go with exact £1000 for easy math: It would mean that it would take 350 months or over 29 years until you paid for it in rental fees. (Of course this is different in real life, even for tractors and stuff ... but you know what I mean)
