Friendly reminder that Winterhold sank into the sea, not because of any plot reason, but because they didn't want a whole extra internal cell city, and would have had to do that for the former capital of Skyrim. So into the drink with it.

Riften is by far my favorite city in Skyrim. Say what you will about the crime rate, but the economy in that place is on fire! And the homes you can buy there are gorgeous.
