I recommend the Presonus ATOM. Volume, pitch are similar to where Koala places them and has many buttons that can be midi mapped like Play, Record and others.

the mpd 218 has great pads, sometimes It comes with the screws from the main pad board inside too tight, if you unscrew them just a tiny little bit It usually resolves this issue of the rubber pads bouncing and retriggering other pads when you play the lower ones
@PB72UK8 күн бұрын
I tried MPD218 with the mpc beats software and even using their own mapping , it doesn’t work correctly, when trying to edit sample start for example , every knob moves the 1 + 10 + 100 + 1000 , i tried my push 2 with beats and it works as it should , i mapped the knobs to all 4 sample starts and using the push 2 i can move start by 1, 10, 100, or 1000 with no issues .. hoping you had more success than i did with it , as it does seem a decent controller overall.

Another option that works really well is the launchpad x. You can create your own midi mapping. With one layout you can control all 4 banks on koala. Also you can map all faders on another page. There not encoders but it works good enough. And the pads don’t double trigger as much or barley at all.
