thanks! I always seem to lose a few name tags each year.

I live in SoCal 9b. We’ve had multiple weeks of 100+ temps. But some of my dahlia standouts are: Kelvin Floodlight. Arabian Night. Cornel. Thomas Edison. Linda’s Baby. Wizard of Oz. I just keep my dahlias in the ground.

very nice! I ordered Thomas Edison for next year, so I'm glad to hear it's one of your standouts. It would be nice to be able to leave them in the ground, if only because they're taking up a bit of space to store inside over winter.

Where do you get the energy to dig them out and then plant them back each year? I love these flowers but too much work each year.
@frogpondvegpatch3 ай бұрын
Ha! I don't know. :) I started off with just a few, so it didn't seem like too much work. Even now, it doesn't take me too long to dig them. I am running out space to store them, though!

How do you store them, because you have many
@frogpondvegpatch5 ай бұрын
I've stored them in the basement bins with sand or vermiculite. I've used newspaper, too, but they need to be checked on more during the winter to see that they aren't drying out. They can be stored in layers on top of each other in the containers to save some space.

Do you divide in the Fall or Spring?
@frogpondvegpatch4 ай бұрын
@@ThecapeonthecornerI'll be dividing them in the spring this year. I'll be sure to make a video and bring everyone along for that.
