In dahua any camera supports Audio can work just follow the steps in the video If you are willing to connect external MIC to the XVR Audio just make sure that the mic is designed for cctv use it will ease the work for you because it will comes with RCA connection

Yes ofcourse just after you finish the wiring of the audio in with Mic.. All yoy have to do is to go Main menu Camera Encode Main stream of the first channel More Enable Audio Make sure you select Local Then apply thr changes You should hear audio from the first channel when you open it
