It's a weird matchup where you are kinda locked in to taking some very particular units. CD roster does not have ways to effectively kill gyrocopter, which means that you can't take anything large here. The sole exception is Hashut's Dark Ravagers, they get 20% physical resist on top of that normal bull centaur 25% missile resist, which means that gyrocopter shots just tickle them. Their missile attack is pretty bad, but if the gyrocopters just stands there the second volley starts killing models. Orc labourers are good flank defense units in normal matchups, but they don't have the melee stats to actually hit anything. But here they are like tailor made to counter miners who have garbage stats, high armour and low-ish health. Spread formation and high health means that interns can facetank blasting charges and still win in a grind against miners. Chaos dwarf great weapons are unuseable in other matchups since their MA is bad and they normally get shot and cycle charged to death before killing anything. But dwarfs don't have anything to cycle charge them down, so you can take them with Drazhoath for the +8 MA aura. They trade very well into dwarf infantry. Double castellan acts as a slow threat to gyrocopters. Every two shots kill a model and they aim at the same model if you target the same unit. They also have the Breath of Hatred item, which gives +24MA and armour sunder on AoE, which is especially strong if the enemy lord gets surrounded by a GW unit. The money I used for the fireglaives and goblin labourers is basically just extra. I don't know what to spend it for exactly, it feels like gyrocopters just kill whatever I take since their shots ignore shields so anything like blunderbusses and infernal ironsworn just get chewed up. Infernal guard great weapons, hobgoblin archers or wolf raiders might be worth trying.

So the train just gets chewed up right? Probably too much micro tax to try and dodge with it. It could give you better initiative vs the glaives, though here they likely served as a dive trap for Grombrindal to overextend. Interesting build and game, thanks!

I wish drawfs had more unit diversity like THE COOLER dwarfs (their chaos cousins) Instead of naked dwarf with Mohawk unit number 186...

Same tbh, I get that they learned with them and so pumped up the Wrathmongers a bit more, but doomseekers and regular slayer pirates really deserve some love

@@alecshockowitz8385 but it's not just armor, it's also better stats overall, more HP, considerably better weapon strength (especially considering frenzy), more MA and MD more speed, more mass and most of all immunity to flanking

To be fair, Wrathmongers should be among the best, if not the best melee infantry units in the game. Given the faction they are in and it's speciality. Doomseekers deserve some love but not to that extent.

I Wonder what happened to the landship & sky hammer. Are they banned? Sry if that seem like a silly question i dont actually play the game, i just like to watch these kind of video and enjoying the micro on display

So profoundly banned. they're not fun to with or against either. They're so braindead to use that even I have managed to solo an army with the landship in campaign a few times and have the video.

I feel like miners have too much armor for their role. They absorb a lot of ranged fire for the price

That is literally the dwarfs thing their basic units are hard as hell to get rid of both leadership and durability. Only the specialist units stray from that principle.

They are as they should be, useless outside very limited use grenades. There is never a cause to shoot them in the first place, any real combatant stomps them in melee. Even Vampire Coast has units capable of doing that
