4:48 For what it's worth, Gorbad's original model and artwork doesn't depict him holding a shield. He's carrying one on his back, but he's never shown using it. So I think the depiction of him in the game might be reflecting his tabletop design.

In the tabletop game Gorbad is general and battle standard bearer of the army in one person. The "shield" represents the army standard.

monsters are great against brettonia if you can prevent cycle charges from any of the grail units. as for the game, those hippos and louen just avoided the monster blob until it was far too late. glad to see the rebalance of the orcs coming into the spotlight.

I wish Gorbad's "da plan" also saw representation through mutually exclusive passives (like Festus). But I do think he's fine as is. Not too exciting but most GS characters are gonna be like that.
