Daijisho is pretty awesome. I've been using it for a while. I love how when you're viewing games in your library it will automatically load a video in the background of that game. This saves a TON of space, as I usually scrape videos to go with my roms on other devices.

This's really starting to feel like a community. Cool video. Couldn't have got the thing working without it. BUT.....PS2 bios files - I've got roms, but it's like daijisho won't acknowledge that they're in the file. I've got 8/16 bit and MAME all working fine. It's just ps2 and x68000 I got issues with. Though x68000 recognises that there's games in the file, they just won't launch. Cheers guys.

I'm having problems setting up PS1 on Daijisho. My Xenogears Disc 1 and 2 files are in .bin format, but it's not adding it to the PS1 library whenever I sync it. Any ideas?

You need the cue files with any bin files you have.

Hey, you would need to turn them off inside of whichever emulator you're using to play Nintendo DS games.

Been having player error when launching YabaSanshiro 2 Pro, M64Plus FZ Emulator and Redream, Daijisho detects them, but just can't launch it. Any idea?

Yaba doesn't work, the other two add the roms inside the emulators first.

Apologies, I forgot to mention that both M64plus and Redream used to work but recently doesn't. I'm not sure which update broke them on Android 13. Would you recommend retroarch instead for N64, Dreamcast and Saturn rather than standalone? Tried retroarch back in 2022 and it could not detect SD card so I gave up and used standalones. @@JoeysRetroHandhelds

Daijisho doesn't have on-screen controls, those are controlled by your emulator.

Hey Joey. I tried daijisho on a couple devices running into the same problem. Autoload won't work on ps1 (duckstation). Did you run into similar problems? How did you solve them?

Thanks for the guide, just leting you know that we can now use the latest Aethersx2 build with Nethersx2. It modifies the latest (and most likely last) aethersx2 build by removing ads, restoring frontend access, etc.

Just the cores, check the why my games don't load section of the video, guarantee you have the wrong one selected from daijisho.

Thanks for the guidance, though with more testing it looks like it's a bug/limitation of RetroArch with Daijisho when using external storage for games as RetroArch can't read the path.

With aethersx2, the killl background processes error pops up and if I hit kill process, it just opens up to the Home Screen of aethersx2, but I click do nothing, then the game launches straight to the ISO and skips the aethersx2 menu, which is what I want when I click the game initially. I can turn off notifications but that forces the close and then takes me just to aethersx2 Home Screen again. Not sure how to fix this, every other platform/emulator loads up fine except aethersx2

I am using gamma OS and Daijisho on 405m on mgba! I notice them regularly on LOTR Return of the King , this doesn't happen oon my 353m or my miyoo mini...strangely GBA has audio hiccups after my basic setup, very noticeable and mess up the experience, but dreamcast is working super super well without even using a stand-alone. I don't get why I am having trouble with stock gba...

I basically setup everything according to your guides. :-) When I reasign the standard app for the homebutton it goes 1 time to daijisho, but once I go back to the mainscreen where the app icons are it switches back to quickstep, also pressing the homebutton leads to quickstep, and in the setting once again its quickstep

Yep, have to download the cores and then set those cores in Daijisho too. If still crashing, and it's a disc based system, likely missing bios.

I have Openbor working. Unfortunately using Daijisho doesn't have the option to display it, so you have to use Openbor outside of Daijisho. Annoying as you can't manually add Systems. Tbh though there are only a handful that you will have to use outside of Daijisho anyway.
