Whats the relationship between a steep curve vs a lesser gradient?

Is there any reason my upstairs won't heat at all. Was working few weeks ago. Rads are all cold.

Could be any number of reasons, failed stat, new batteries for stat if it has them. Failed zone valve, air in rads, lack of heating pressure. Hard to say without knowing the system but that would be the main reasons
