8:59 the problem with flying cars is they’re not only expensive, but you need a lot of paper work to own one. You need a drivers and pilots license, it needs to be registered as a car and a plane, you need a radio operators license and medical certificate to be a pilot, and if the wings when folded exceed 17ft, in the USA you also need a chauffeurs license which requires another, different medical certificate. That’s 8 licenses and certificates just to fully use one of these flying cars.

It's truly unfeasible. of an idea. The idea of that many vehicles in the AIR, along with small passenger airplanes, personal private jets, commercial airliners, military jets, helicopters, large drones, etc. Air traffic control is already very busy, add on top of that flying cars. And imagine having to set up and maintain "air highways", "air roads", "air interstates", etc., along with controlling that kind of traffic with traffic lights or traffic signs, monitoring it with flying police cars - i shudder at the thought of flying car police chase... weaving in and out of air traffic at astonishing speeds. Or, even worse yet, cars crashing into multi-story buildings. And then, just as bad as that is the idea of two - OR MORE - flying cars crashing into one another. Those cars, along with all the passengers, are going to fall to the ground and take out with them anyone below - probably in a ball of flames. Maybe we need a public national monorail system. I think that would be more feasible. Even if it is to only the major cities and towns in the continental United States.

Islands are shockingly low-priced for the most part, buuuuut then you gotta factor in the price of putting a house there, how to get back and forth from it, the fucking upkeep when you have to drag someone from the mainland.
