I've had my 2023 3.0 automatic for almost a year now. It is my daily commuter and "grocery getter." I've been on a couple of short road trips in it as well. I agree with what he says about the tendancy to drive fast - boy, when you want to pass someone, a tiny press on the gas and you've accelerated up 20 MPH. I joke with friends that I have to drive barefoot because I can only put a toe on the pedal and not my entire foot. I get so much car attention - tons of smiles, thumbs ups, people have taken pictures of it, etc. I love my choice - zero regrets. I replaced a manual transmission 2000 Celica GT-S. It was a difficult call to go away from a manual, but I have a longer commute to work and am confident that I made the right decision. Between the paddle shifters and the option for shifting on the stick, I can run it when I really want. Can't wait to take it over some super curvy mountain roads this summer.

Great review! And good explanation of the throttle mapping as well. I’m glad to hear that it’s quite linear I.e. the deeper you press it, the faster you go.

Hey Jason, Great review, great mention of the ND ! When comparing interior size ( between the Supra and the Club ) , I can TOTALLY relate. When I was "trying on" multiple sports cars, I totally ruled out the Supra after a nasty concussion like event to my head when attempting to enter. We have owned many small cars but the sloping roof did me in. BUT the ND Mazda is easy compared to the Supra . While the specs of the Supra had me drooling for sure, ya just gotta be able to get in it lol...plus it wasn't a ragtop. Keep those reviews coming !

It is a fantastic car. I was thinking of buying one but I found a 22 VB WRX in a used Toyota dealership with just 531 KM’s on the clock so I went with that & have been modding it over the past year. I haven’t given up on dreaming about owning a Supra unless Toyota re-issue the Celica with an ICE in the next couple years.

@@jasonbellcars yea, I didn’t get one when I got my car but want one, especially if it’s made out of metal. I’d use it to cover my real plate at car shows or when taking pics of my car.

The B58 motor is supposed to be ultra-reliable and has really been put through the ringer in its testing. I say go for it.

It is a BMW...motor and tranny is fine but all the little stuff will fall apart around you. Dont keep it when the warranty is out.
