Thank you Maria for your beautiful and peaceful film. The frozen waterfall is very special and that evening sky was awesome. Rest and be well.

Beautiful filming, and beautiful thoughts, Maria... absolutely agree that darkness can be beneficial to creativity, a time to restock the mind and grow imaginative strands for the future. I've found that the dark months have become easier to live with and in, as I grow older. Also, you'll have the lengthening evenings to enjoy in coming months :)

All the birds of the sky nested in its boughs, all the animals of the wild gave birth under its branches; all the great nations lived in its shade. God's beauty in the earth is unmatched by anything else. The beauty in this video are unmatched. What an awesome creator to make this all for us to enjoy! I am stunned by the beauty around you there. We have on a tiny glimmer of that here in winter in Washington state. It doesn't get as cold as you have there. But we have the Cascade mountains all around that are of surpassing beauty as well. Love this and so enjoy your soft ways in presenting all this on film. Thank you.

You were on my mind this week - I was wondering how you were doing - so lovely to see you. Oh my goodness, that waterfall at night just captured my spirit. So magnificent! Wow. I was painting an abstract painting that morphed into a waterfall seen in very dark light - like at night just lit a bit maybe by moonlight, or late twilight... this reminded me of it. And I was walking just last night with a friend and her dog and we had a sunset that looked SO much like the one here that it surprised me and made me feel a bit teary! Nature's generosity and magnificence can really feel emotional sometimes. You have been having weather similar to ours - winter storms and frost and snow, followed by melting and mild temperatures. I agree - the warm weather is such a relief after so much cold! So glad you are having some nice down time, and good time with friends. Sending you a hug. May your heart continue to heal, and 2024 be more relaxed, but fulfilling, satisfying and joyful for you and your honey.

Thank you for thinking of me Janina. I appreciate that. So glad you liked the waterfall too, it really is magical to be there when its frozen. I agree, sometimes nature really keeps on giving these gifts and it can feel moving in many ways. Even though it is also harsh like with the cold temperatures we have had! Thank you so much for the hug and your well wishes for the yearv

I feel so bad when you are riding bicycles in that snow, it must be such hard cold work. I hope your car is fixed soon. We are still all very very hot in Australia, I want our winter to be here quickly and be rid of the constant humidity and draining heat. We are both wishing our seasons to be gone, to bring in the new relief of cold and heat. Best wishes in your cosy cottage and thank you for such a beautiful video once again .❤😊

Wow, so amazed that you are on a bicycle in the snow! I think you are so used to the weather there perhaps? In England, we panic if it snows too much, as we are not keyed up for it here, as it does not happen very often! I love the snow, but because I do not live near shops, I have to make sure I have enough food for me and my rescue greyhound Madge, and drink, here in my little house in West Devon, England. Hope that you can continue to feel better, and get lots of rest. xxx
@Mariaandtheforest10 ай бұрын
Haha, yes I get what you mean. Some places in Norway are similar, they are not so used to lots of snow and everything becomes a little chaotic when there is snow. Biking through winter is challenging for sure, but I always change to studded tyres and that is a life saver!

Oh goodness I know that feeling well - we have snow in what feels like mountains in our yard. Everytime it snows I feel like crying as I know I have a good few hours of snow clearing to do. It’s exhausting! Our snow machine broke ages ago so we occasionally have to call in a tractor when it gets too bad……I’m looking forward to easier days! Winter is a tough time……

Wow, i don't know how you do it, but you really give the feeling throu the video about what you are talking. I wish more of our generation search themself more instead of living this frenetic ritmes. Here in Belgium People look and feel soul less. It must be so recharging be able to live in a comunity somewhere where you feel belonged, + a stunning nature is jackpot, And a good partner. Maybe i should turn page and change abrupt, going back to south italy ,.were the mountain are, but the South is left at his own destiny last decades,.no comunity, only old People , all young emigrated economic situation, thats also not a place than were to feel alive, even if it has everything else.
