Happy belated birthday! I spend my birthdays the same way. I buy myself flowers (purple roses if I can find them) and a small cake or I make my own cake. I never had a birthday as a child so as an adult, it's okay to treat myself. I am 70 years old but I still celebrate my birthday by myself. There is nothing wrong with that at all. Remember we are never alone. God is always with us. Blessings, joy, and love as you go into another year of life. 😘💋

I think the thing filled with lavender scent is called a sachet. My grandmother used to keep them in her closet and dresser drawers to transfer the scent to her clothes, especially pajamas! Sorry you felt so lonely, Lou. Thank you for sharing your special day with us.

I’m sure someone else told you but just in case….the bags of lavender are usually used to tuck into your drawers of underthings to give them a sweet scent, you can put one beside your bed at night or put them where you store bedding or towels. Due to Time zones, I believe this will unfortunately be hours late but that being said, Happy Birthday Ms. Lou! I have recently found your channel and enjoy the calm and cozy content you share with others to see. It's a breath of fresh air for someone like me who has too much chaos and too much anxiety in the world around me, that causes added stresses and bad effects on my outlook and enjoyment of this life. There are good things all around, and regardless, being able to take a second to soak in the subtle calm that seeps into the world around, makes things a lil bit easier to deal with and handle. It's hard to be alone, but you're never truly alone, even if you think otherwise. Someone, somewhere, knows of you, thinks of you, and sends regards to you. Sometimes being alone is okay, sometimes it's not, but regardless it's never for long. Loneliness is only but a pause on life's many events, and as I say, 'Things will even out as they should or need to, just have patience and give it some time.' Also! The bluebell bag that smelled like lavender is something you put near your clothing, linen, or even bedding, to make it smell sweet and comforting. Since it's lavender, it will have calming effects and ease anxiety and stress. :D The dishware or dining set is lovely! The gold rims on those plates, make it so that they can't be microwaved, so just a heads up! They are good to handwash in hot water though! Warm regards to you and here's to another year of life!

I hope the persimmon you had for breakfast was good. I have never had one. I wonder what it taste like. That was such a nice gift from your friend Eva. She is very thoughtful. The lavender sachet is to put in your drawer where you keep your clothes, usually your pajamas or your delicates. It will make your clothes smell nice.
