First thing to do is move the chicken tractors. Then fill up their feed and water. But most of the day we are going to relax and take it easy. We are smoking Ribs and cooking baked potatoes in the campfire. Let's grab the Allis Chalmers and grab some firewood.

Evan, When you feed the chickens, if you just put food at the end you're going to move the tractor, I think this will keep the chickens nearer you, so that they don't get hit by back of the chicken tractor as you drag it to the new location. Once you finish moving the tractor, then completely fill the full length of the feeder trough.

My workplace safety program harps on us to push loads rather then pull them in order to reduce injury. I see how you move your chicken house. Maybe adding some wheels at the far end in order to reduce the load of dragging it could help. Maybe ATC/side by side opportunity to reduce physical wear and tear beforehand. love the show.

Pond looks great, i think we are going to try a bottle of the blue dye to give it a blue tint in ours and help with some algae growth, would look really nice in yours i would think!
@NEOATHS
@NEOATHS 3 жыл бұрын
The dye filters out the sunlight for weeds growing from the bottom but it may not help for algae floating on top of the water. Copper sulfate will kill off algae or just improve water aeration or movement like a fountain just my 2 cents.
@HillsideAcres
@HillsideAcres 3 жыл бұрын
@@NEOATHS That would make the most sense i actually just picked up a gallon of dye, curious to see what effect it will have on my small pond, i may look into a solar or windmill option for aeration as there is no power within about quarter mile of the pond.
