Hello, I've been listening to these videos for quite awhile now, and I have not been able to remember what a guinea pig is like. Being blind, I actually hadn't felt one for a while, but I knew they were cute! Anyway, I was just at a new friends place before and guess what, she had a guinea pig! I was holding her and she was so soft! It all came back to me, the shape and everything. She's a long-haired guinea pig called Ruby. I could have just sat there with her all day! She was licking me and giving me little cute nibbles. I want one so bad but I have four cats, and, it does seem like they might be too much maintenance for me, but you never know! I will just go and enjoy her pig in the meantime.

You will need to paint the whole wall in order for it to blend and look nice. It isn't a color problem, it is cause the rest of the wall paint is older, dirty, and possibly faded from sun. So the new paint looks bright compared. Just paint all the walls, it will look so clean and fresh.

I thought the walls were dirty but I wiped them all down 😅 It is 100% a different shade of white as I realized the one I used to first paint the room is a completely different name as the one I got.

I can't thank you enough for your wonderful, educational videos. They provide countless good care to many little piggies that you will never meet, just by showing what's right and what's wrong via your fun, and informative videos. I can't imagine how you're able to achieve so much in a day. Thank you for not supporting pet shop retailers who sell animals. Although I don't have piggies, I have rescued parrots. You see some of the same brands you mentioned who also produce and sell poor quality food and other products for birds. I get extremely frustrated because that companies produce junk food which contributes to parrots poor health and disease. Shame on them. I'm sorry for your loss regarding Caroline. But you are right. You gave her a wonderful, healthy life with impeccable care and love. She was very lucky to have been a part of your family.

Such a lovely video ❤ Are the dogs not fastened in the car? Mine are either in a crash tested cage or special crash tested harness. I have seen the testing they do with crash test dummy dogs and it's awful what can happen in a crash with a loose dog or a even if fastened with a normal harness. 😢

Hi Austin! I love your videos, and i was wondering what exactly kind of coroplast u use for your cages and how to put it in the cage because I have two male guinea pigs and they both live in separate cages right next to each other but i still want them to see each other but i also want to protect my floors and make the cage cleaning easier with the coroplast if you could help that would be great! I also was looking on the Home Depot website and coroplast is so expensive!

I made the coroplast bases myself. I purchased a 4ft x 8ft sheet from Home Depot and cut them to the size of my cages!

But I figure it’s still so cheap I’m ok with changing it more often and wasting a bit more after they’ve picked out all the yummiest pieces. But you’re so right, definitely hit or miss. Now that I am seeing what a normal Guinea pig enclosure should be I feel bad for my friends Guinea pig because the cage is very small, never cleaned, one of the pigs died because she didn’t have the right stuff to take care of them and now there is only one. Her name is Twix and she is stuck in a small dirty cage :(

I lived in an apartment my WHOLE life and it’s not a good idea in my opinion. A lot of apartments do walk throughs randomly to inspect the home so chances are they will see the small critters. If you’re often busy or not home that will not stop them from entering your home regardless if you like it or not because that’s still their property, I’ve had maintenance problems and the workers almost never complete the job and chances are you will have to pay hidden fees each month I payed for a pest fee never got done due to them saying they did when they didn’t so I pay out of pocket to do pest control my ac went out and they couldn’t fix it either so I bought window ac units and the workers came to my apartment asking for their ac units back when I bought them so that happens a lot. No washer dryer all the time if you get lucky to find one with you will pay much much more or they will break or the water bill will be so high and you will need maintenance to come in but they won’t without a work order that takes weeks or months. Neighbors suck !!! Parking sucks!! No privacy some neighbors will be outside all day and try to chat every second or you could have loud neighbors that bang on walls play loud music till 5 am and office will do nothing I’ve lived in high end apartments where people got sh*t at and bad apartments where ppl get sh*t at also lol I’ve had so much experience and pet fees are no joke!! I think you should buy a house or rent a house because apartments are not a good cheap place for people with pets and or business owners ppl will wake you up at all times and the pet parks are not well kept most times so pls don’t risk it buy a house just my personal opinion as a lifelong apartment resident:)))))
