I'm taking a Beginner Filipino class and my teacher suggested this video to learn how to describe our daily schedule. Very helpful!

Gday! I'm a half Filipino travel vlogger who cant speak tagalog.. but I'm planning to come to PH this year and learn what it's like to be 100% FILIPINO! Kabayan! I was wondering what are the best beaches/mountains to discover in PH? #RoadToPinas!

Hi there, Whatsup Tony! There are so many beautiful beaches in the Philippines like those in El Nido and Coron, Palawan but if you're looking for sandbars and insanely blue water, I would recommend that you explore Bonbon beach and Sibuyan island in Romblon. Siargao Islands in Surigao del Norte, Caramoan in Camarines Sur and Bantayan Island in Cebu are also good for your vlog. As for the mountains, Mount Pico De Loro and Taal Volcano are ideal if you want something close to Manila. Just make sure that the weather is nice when you visit these places, Kabayan! :)

Excellent videos that are very easy to follow. Thank you very much. I wonder what the equivalent expression in Tagalog that describes an action after another one, for example, “I am going to the market to buy vegetables”, how do you say “to buy”? I am going to the beach to swim, etc. Thanks!

Hi, Kweli Nzito! I'm going to prepare a lesson about it but just to give you a quick answer, here's how Tagalog speakers say it: 1.) Pupunta ako (I'm going) sa (to) palengke (market) para (to) bumili ng gulay (buy vegetables). 2) Pupunta ako sa dagat (beach) para (to) lumangoy (swim). It's like Future Action + Para + Purpose of future action.

0:41 Gumigising ako ng alas-singko ng umaga. In this sentence, "ng" before "alas", should be "nang"??? shouldn't it? I'm curious whether both are correct or not.

Why are the numbers in Spanish and not Tagalog? I know that anim is six, pinto is seven, lima is five and so on. Is it because they're talking about time?
@BrickMania100

Yes! Normal numbers regardless of time is said in tagalog! Such as - I am (6) anim years old! But with time it is very common to use the spanish time :)

That's because of Spanish colonization in 1521… (-~-) (:p).
