May I ask that all those words are verbs. When they are beginning with "NAG" it is the tense or the root words are beginning with nag already?

Excuse me po maam , Why did you add "down" followed by the word"wipe".? In your first sentence There's no word down .
@pauloticks6 жыл бұрын
Dahil po minsan we use the word "down" more as a description word and not necessarily meaning a direction. Another example is "Please go down to the store and grab some veggies for dinner". The store doesn't have to be in a southern direction but we still say down. English is such a difficult language I can't imagine learning it as my second language. Mas madali ng wikang filipino kaysa sa ingles talaga!

Thanks a lot po, Pauloticks! :)

Hi, Dominicbryan Lim! "Wipe down" is a phrasal verb po which means to clean a surface with a cloth. "Wipe" po in our first sentence is a transitive verb that describes what is being done to the furniture. I understand the confusion because most of us Filipinos find English phrasal verbs tricky so we must acquaint ourselves with them and their meanings and uses. Salamat po for watching. :)
