Daily Study no. 77 for Celesta

Celesta again today, with another textural concept. I like the alternation between the hands, since it leaves just barely enough room for a melody to come through as well.
I'm not entirely sure how best to analyze the fourth chord in the sequence, it's written as a double-flat IV, but calling it III might be more accurate. Even though I don't make it a dominant 7 chord, it can work as a dominant substitute, being the tritone sub of bVIII, which is already dominant. Regardless, it's a really neat sound since there are just enough notes in common between F aeolian and Bbb lydian.

Thank you! I'm glad you like my work. Currently, I am still a student, halfway through my master's degree. That said, I am hitting that point where I'm trying to get my name out there in as many ways as possible, to try and become a working composer.
