Hello Gemma, the eclipse has been epic. Firstly I had a huge hike in rent. Secondly I asked for a ay increase, because of the first event. Got offered a surprisingly generous pay increase! The other thing is that the old ceiling in the house is about to cave in. So have the ceiling guy booked in to replace it next week. That part is keeping me awake at night... the logistics and the oncoming mess! What a week!

We rent an old place too that the landlord's father-in-law (not a contractor) did work on back in the day (oy vey). Every time we have to have him send repairmen, he increases our rent a bit. I don't mind so much since we pay half what he could get these days (we've been here 19 years now and it's only gone up a total of $1000, which is actually meager for Los Angeles). My husband on the other hand freaks out every time. :/

@suburbohemian I've been in this old bungalow.for 15 years and this is the first increase. The rent market here is insane (Perth Western Australia) so I'm very grateful that I have a place and it's no where near as expensive as most places

Yes, some 5 Cups, 10 Wands thingy as in reading. I've worn glasses since age 8, then contacts, now glasses. I see perfectly close up w naked eye, but am myopic. Corrective surgery for you, I'm hoping will be a big, happy change -

The Thoth deck was actually MY first deck, back when I was about 15-16 years old in the 80s. I wanted a deck, so I picked it because I thought the art was pretty. Then I read the accompanying book and wooo, was that over my head! I used it a little bit on and off through high school, but just assumed that maybe I'd just never 'get' tarot, because it was so challenging. In fact, I can't remember if I even got another -- easier -- deck until years later, when I was 21. At that point (at 21), I had a boyfriend who was really good at reading tarot (he even became a 'phone psychic' as a job while we were later living together -- LOL) and he taught me. We used an Aquarian deck for learning and that one is still my sentimental fave, as it was the first one I connected with. Many other decks have come through my life since (I essentially have a 'tarot cupboard' too these days). And I do still look at the Thoth deck every now and again (and appreciate it much more now), but read it more by the traditional card meanings and not the way the book said (which I think was it was a positive or negative card based on what card it was next to or something). But all that to say, I definitely agree, the Thoth deck should definitely not be someone's first deck! 😆

Had my eye surgery two weeks ago on NHS with Optegra although for cataract surgery not laser correction. Absolutely brilliant results so far but the downside is I thought my house was clean. Now I’m horrified at the dust and yellowing paintwork 🙀. Having four cats doesn’t help! Worst still I can’t bend over or dust for 4 weeks in total but I suppose I should welcome the rest 😂xx

Yes, the sun is considered in its “fall“ in Libra. I think it’s because that’s the autumn equinox when the days begin to get shorter. The next full moon will be in Aries and I think it’s on October 17. This last new moon in Libra was conjunct Mercury, Black Moon Lilith, and the north node (widely). It really wore me out. I feel the five of cups energy and you’re right; it is a little different. I’m dealing with feelings of guilt and regret. Not healthy! The goats in the UK must look really different than ours do! 😁 Thanks, Gemma! I was so glad when I clicked on your video and it didn’t give me a 28 minute ad. Did you know they’re doing that? Wisdom is learning from lived experience, in my opinion. My mom is not always right 😒. Definitely feel that this time is for mental and somatic pricessing. I am doing dome exercises for somatics, but also may be witnessing some processing with outside exercises in my relationship to others. This processing season of eclipses lines up with Hurricane season. I wonder if nature did that on purpose. Significant change, whether we are ready for it (or want it). Interesting...

My eye doctor says cataract surgery takes about 10 minutes & people can see so much better afterwards. I will have to have it in the future. I empathize mostly with the thoughts beforehand, it's the worst part.❤❤❤

I am not fond of ASMR. It has the opposite effect for me, keeping me awake because of the tension of trying to listen to it. I just get annoyed, wanting the reader to get on with it.
