We spoke to Mallory Lewis, the daughter of Lamb Chop's creator, Shari Lewis, about the history of the iconic character and the 'bad ass businesswoman' that was her mom.

I love this so much. Shari helped launch my career as a full time magician (and now prop fabricator and brander of entertainers). Over 4 decades in this industry now because of one bad-ass woman who looked through the TV and spoke to me. She is under-rated as an artist. I was born May 28, 1989 & my baby sister was born July 12, 1990, we are 14 months apart, my mom said that many doctors told her that if my sister & I were born any closer than that that we would be twins. I was 9yrs old when Shari Lewis passed away, i cried like I had lost my bestfriend for a long time, I was blessed enough to meet her a handful of times as a child when I lived in Noho818, North Hollywood, CA, at The Shield when my sister, my grandmother[my mothers mom, rest in peace] & my mom would be shopping & I was always star struck & at a loss for words when she would speak to us. So we USE to always refer to as one another as MY TWiN. I do NOT speak to my mother or my sister anymore, they did some awful things to my father[who was/is my best friend in my entire world], my wife, my 3 children & myself. My dad passed away March 5, 2021 & the 3 of our already dwindling relationship as mother, son & sister became so broken that NOTHING can fix it, i thank god for the good memories that I did share with them & I forgive them, but life goes on & I am BETTER without their negative, toxic, destructively harmful & hateful behavior, I pray for them always though. My wife & 3[my 14yr old daughter, my 11yr old daughter & my 6yr old son] children are who I have & will always create NEW memories with.❤ My baby sister & I watched LAMB CHOP & Charlie Horse Music Pizza every morning at 3 am & 5am on the weekends & weekdays in California be a that was the ONLY times that both shows came on in the 90’s. The good ol’ days Shari Lewis & Mallory Lewis are BOTH gorgeous women, such beautiful souls. Mallory looks like she could’ve been her moms TWiN sister, the voice, the laugh, Mallory Lewis has shown me that her mom, Shari Lewis is still here & so is Lamb Chop, just reincarnated through Mallory😍❤ Charlie Horse Music Pizza is where I was 1st introduced to Dom DeLuise[Rest In Peace] & the next time I saw him was in my favorite movie 1999 Baby Geniuses

Mallory is on Cameo. She does personal short videos (for a few). I got her & Lamb Chop to do one for my 31 year old daughter, who was rather I'll & going to have surgery. My daughter was immediately mesmerized & the look on her face seeing Lamb Chop in a video for her, wishing her all the best for her upcoming surgery, was precious!

She’s just as beautiful and talented as her. Amazing mom! I watched Lambchops growing up with my mom and now I’ve watched it with my children & now my grandchildren!! One of my grandson’s favorite nap songs is the song that doesn’t end and believe me he doesn’t ever let it end until he’s asleep. He’s got it all figured out at 8 months old lol
