I was a very lost person at one point in my life. When I truly understood the Good News (the Gospel of Jesus), and turned towards God with all my heart.. He became the most real, whole, pure, true 'thing' in my life. I really am so grateful and don't know where the heck I would have ended up if I didn't turn to His love. He lead me out of that place and He can lead anyone who will open, surrender, and submit their hearts to Him. He's real Hun. There's no doubt. Every individual has to experience their own journey to that truth, in their own special way.

Im a baby Christian & i just started reading my bible not too long ago to better understand the word of God. Good luck in your exploring, make sure to also to try to find yourself outside of religion reflecting on your life, journaling,talking to yourself,finding your triggers and doing an activity that will help you reflect and relax.Whatever conclusions u have make sure it resonates with you, look at how far you have come and how much you can grow as a person. The Lord is certainly here for you. He's real. He loves you. He made you. He wants to reveal himself to you. I used to be so lost and broken. And I begged Him to show me that he was real when I hit my bottom. That he heard me. He changed my life in how he responded. He erased all doubt. It's not a complicated formula to reach him. You don't have to earn it. I certainly didn't. Read about the Good News/the Gospel in the Bible. Humble your heart and ask The Lord to speak to you and move in your life. Read the scriptures on how we receive salvation and what Jesus has done on the cross for us. From there you'll have a decision to make .. To believe or not to believe. If you choose not to believe, you carry on with your life the same as before. If you do believe, it starts your brand new life in Christ, as a child of God, born of the Spirit (all of this is explained in scripture). And you will have a whole new world before you that is founded on your growing relationship with Him. much love to you as you search for truth and love.

Everyone else in that room has probably been studying this for years and i really dont have a clue.. these videos help but its still daunting

I've had similar problems with endless scrolling recently, and it really does make you feel worse! My advice would be to pray about it, and also to try to keep time on youtube separate from time when you are trying to be productive - that way not only do you get more done, but you can relax without feeling guilty about it.

Same deal! I think about it this way, when I got married, I had to sacrifice so much to make my marriage work. I had to drop all of my future plans to make it work. Which I had no problem with! I love my wife and I would do anything to make our relationship work, but the sacrifice felt off for a little bit until I understood that I didn't need anything that I sacrificed. So, I needed to do the same for God too. I deleted all social media, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, EVERYTHING. I only kept KZbin because I use it to watch or listen to teachings or God centered content. It felt weird for a long time because I was so used to just taking out my phone and scrolling. In those times of temptation though, I picked up my bible, or I prayed, or I wrote in my journal. I eventually realized I didn't need any of it. Same thing like with my relationship with my wife. Building a relationship with God is just like building a relationship with any living being. Yes, sacrifice is difficult and feels off or odd for a bit, but oh man is it worth it! I am praying for you!

For me, I’ve had the same issue for like the past month and a half. I had horrible anxieties, mainly at night. It’s like I could feel the many demons surrounding me. Granting me no peace. And I forgot what prosperity in Christ felt like. I forgot what peace was. I have to mention in that month and a half span I was smoking weed and masturbating both things. The Lord had already let me known wasn’t his will for me, and it wasn’t good for my own body and mind. I didn’t even realize how addicted I was to mainly weed. Because I saw that if I didn’t smoke weed, I didn’t really have the desire to masturbate. But when you open the door for the enemy even a little bit, he can open that door. Once I truly decided to let my no be no. The promises, my distressed lips made in fear. And stop smoking as hard as that was and still is because it’s only been two days. For the last two days I’ve had unimaginable peace at night! I was up like an owl I couldn’t sleep until morning came. I weeped all night in fear. My anxieties went beyond me. I felt as though I could die. And I told the Lord if this was anything similar to how hell will feel please save me for my own self. For the last three days I’ve been waking up earlier sometimes 4:30 AM . I tried to wake up around that time because it’s the most quietest around my house. I’ve been sleeping to calming worship music too at night so that even when I wake up in the morning or throughout the night, I’m hearing the word of Christ and it is comforting. The artist I listen to on Spotify and their name is “verses” they only sing Bible verses and like I said before it is so comforting to have the word of God spoken over you even in your sleep. What I do at night I drink chamomile milk tea . it helps with anxiety, depression, insomnia, and more. Not only that would really help with my anxiety, it’s Jesus. There is no peace for the wicked. And if you are doing something outside of the Lords will he will discipline you. He will bring you back to him, because if you are chosen, you cannot fight God forever. so with his heavy hand of discipline on me day and night (mainly night) I suffered. But that suffering gave me the strength not only to walk away from weed. But realizing how God can take away my peace in a second and return it back quicker than that. So I don’t know if you’re doing any specific sin right now, but Lord, I pray for this person, I pray that you grant them peace again, and I pray that you guide their steps so that they can know what is you will for their lives . I recommend talking to God like you would talk to a friend Having peaceful worship music play during your sleep Before you go to sleep read the Bible talk to God drink some tea and even take a melatonin if needed but honestly, the chamomile tea really makes you sleepy and relax so try both and see what’s best for you. However, melatonin is not a permanent sleeping solution. I’ve just been taking the melatonin for three days to help my body get back to schedule since I was literally in distress and insomnia for the last month because of my sin When you wake up, pray and read the Bible and talk to God . If your worship music turned off, turn it on immediately to fill the space with Christ presence. Also, know that the Lord never left you he has dominion over demons so the only thing you should fear is him even if the demons are scary the Lord is scarier, and they are scared of him I also recommend psalms 4 as a nightly prayer . The last verse, especially helped me so much. “ I will both lie down and sleep in peace” I try to read this nightly prayer every night and also start anointing your head with oil or burning incense for aromatherapy If you need any other tips, please don’t be afraid to comment. As someone who just went through this and didn’t even think not being able to fall asleep, or even close your eyes due to anxiety and demonic spirits tormenting you was a thing. I am always ready to try to give pointers to anyone because I know how horrible that experience was for me. But if it wasn’t for Jesus Christ, I’d probably be dead or insane.

As someone who comes form a variety of religions, my grandparents are Jewish, my parents are Christian and my sister converted to Catholicism when she married, I can say that having someone upon you, it’s very comforting! It makes you happy, you feel better in yourself and therefore, you make others feel better, I can say that this channel is giving something good to the world, and no matter what you religion is, you should always have a God to look after you.

This one was so helpful! I normally am pretty clear but sometimes the lies can be so insidious they just get in there. I'd been feeling off-balance since watching a mainstream film that was so full of propaganda it just was unbelievable, and even though my mind consciously could see how ridiculous the lies were somehow I feel they entered at one level. The way you elaborated the lies and how they're false was very comforting and encouraging: also the asmr helps to clear the lie on the level it entered, which is often not fully conscious

Im glad I found your account this week!! I've been a Christian all my life but never really read the bible but I did go to chruch. I had to stop going because my grandmother got really sick and she would read us Bible stories for kids so I knew some things but she was severely sick. She died when I was in 7th grade. Im now a senior in highschool and about to graduate. I want to get closer to God but don't know where to start. My family(Granddad and my sister)keeps having car trouble, we now live in a hotel, I didn't even go to school today because of the car not working and my life is just a mess. I want to get closer but I can't go to church, I don't have many friends that are religious like me, I have a bible reader but its hard to do that and school sometimes, and I am limited in general. I’m not religious but as brought up part Catholic and part Protestant. I was very afraid this video would contain controversial things like “you can love whoever you want” or stuff like that, but i have to admit I am very pleasantly surprised. A lot of people I went to church with couldn’t help but bring up stuff like that. Im very happy Christian people have a place in the ASMR community too, even though I’m not Christian anymore. I have great respect for all beliefs and religions and I love learning about hem more and seeing other parts of the community I grew up in. The mistake is when peiplw say "EVERYTHING is relative" and some other people sound a bit crazy when they mean tk say that evwrything is absolute, think about diferent cultures and languages for example.I think there are some truths that are relative and aome things that are absolute. Make sure you don't date outside of your faith. Marriage is a sanctioned unity that is meant to last until death so be sure you aren't entertaining a woman who will kill your child or teach it evil. If your spouse is not Christian you will have marital disorders and constant feuds.

History literally proves this: Christian churches changed doctrine to control the public and their influence overtime, there was literally the Great Schism where there were 3 popes, the whole Wars of Religion where various interpretations and translations of the Bible developed and contradicted each other, and later scientific revolution and the age of optimism proved writings of the Bible to be unequivocally false. For example, “The Bible says God created the world in 7 days, but it took over x million years!” God created every thing before the sun was made, so a day could’ve been more than 24 hours. It's easy to be dismissive especially when you have all your needs met and everything just seems to work, almost like magic. When things start failing and you realise the world doesn't actually care about you then maybe you will come to realise that faith isn't so bad after all. Faith is the realisation that the world alone cannot actually provide everything you need because no matter how carefully you plan or try and control your life there's always a level of uncertainty. Faith is knowing that uncertainty can't actually harm you because nothing can actually destroy you if you believe. I used to think this is childish and naive to think in such terms but time has taught me lots of hardships and the only reason why I didn't give up and still manage to push through is because I always had faith in some way.

I agree with the other suggestions- the gospel of John is one of the better places to start! I forget the exact scripture, but if you look up “testing spirits” in reference to the Bible, it’s very helpful when praying and listening for His voice + discerning His voice from that of the enemy. 🤍 I’m happy for you to know God- remember that as you draw nearer to Him, He will draw nearer to you. 🤍 God bless!
