Wtf no he wasn't. He was very good at dribblibng and skills but that on its own doesn't make a good footballer. Idk where in the world you are from, but if you grew up playing football in a country that is crazy about it (like me - born in Portugal) you will spend your childhood playing on the street with guys that have dribbling and skill at the same level or even better than Bolasie. Probably less than 1% of them ever make it to being pros. Because there's so much more to being a good player than doing fancy tricks.

As incredible as it seems, here in Brazil we don’t like showboating, if a player starts with a lot of clowning the game ends up in beating (whether professional or amateur). Obviously, geniuses like Ronaldinho, Neymar, Djalminha are successful here, as well as in Europe, but because they also have other qualities.
@reverseneox
@reverseneox 22 күн бұрын
i disagree, both types of showboating are equally great to watch and is what makes football more enjoyable, they both make 99 dribbling ballers like okocha and ronaldinho. i think you're trying to say that the african one are just crazier, and i agree in that.

Kasi Flava is mostly a South African jargon to describe someone or something that excites us South Africans and skill compilations of African players especially South African players is what excites us. Yannick Bolasie is that player that represents Kasi Flava or Jogo Bonito to Brazilians. Was the best player for Palace before moving to Everton and started very well until his injury and he never recovered since and he went down as one of the worst signing for the club and it wasn't his fault. It's nice to see him doing well in Brazil.

Bolasie is a proof that talent does not beat education... With his skills if he went through a football school very early they were going to detect his lack in shooting and force him to work on it... An amazing player who just needed more time in training as a child to polish him to gold.
