Idk if Hasan is joking but the reason they asked "are you sure he's dead" is because of many reasons. One as you can clearly hear her typing in the background she has to write all this down and relay this to the officers. Also if he's somehow still breathing they will either tell her to do some things to make sure he stays alive. Like cover up the hole he's bleeding from or whatever. Also if he's still breathing to send an ambulance and make sure they do whatever they can to make sure they save him.

I wish we knew more about her past and what mindset she had to have to lead her into stalking him in the first place
@akinyiomer4589 Жыл бұрын
The thing is ... even an abusive or dysfunctional past may not always be as relevant to someone's abusive or stalking behaviour (in instances of partner violence) as you think. Although this research mostly pertains to male domestic violence perpetrators, they do make a point to note that they see the same behavioural / attitudinal patterns in the very, very small numbers of female abusers that exist. And that is a mindset and deeply self-justified attitude of entitlement. Now I will be careful and say that this applies to chronic DV abusers, and so the mental/psychological profile of those who are "simply" (gross term I know) opportunistic or dedicated killers - or "just" sociopaths/psychopaths - would I think be very different. But anyways, the research was saying that there was no major correlations between maladjusted or well-adjusted childhoods, mental health psychoses that fully explained the "master trait" of abusers other than deep entitlement. There are *absolutely* terrifying individuals who do have personality disorders eg sociopathy/psychopathy and that drives their abuse, but even within the abuser population the number was ... terrifyingly kinda small. Maybe this lady fits into that, it's true. Maybe not. My source: let me be upfront and state that I'm not directly quoting studies first-hand, but giving a generalised overview of the research (clinical and non-clinical) referred and cited to in the book "Why Does He Do That? Inside The Minds Of Controlling and Abusive Men" by domestic violence expert, Lundy Bancroft. Feel free to interpret the validity of this as you wish.
