From the original video of the horse: The horse was breech (came out backwards) and never felt the contractions/pressure in the proper location that jolt it’s nervous system to say “Hey, I’ve been born. Time to stand up and eat”. That is why the man is ferociously patting along the horse’s sides and applying pressure around the chest.

Hello everyone. We're all guilty of a lifetime of sinning, and the wages of sin is the second death: being cast into heII. We can't earn our salvation from this coming judgment, we can only accept Jesus Christ judging our sin on the cross, dying for it and being raised again on the third day, defeating death. And we can only receive that free gift by faith, which will come with a change of mind about sin - a desire to turn from it because we're turning to God / Jesus Christ. I implore people to re-read the gospels and forget what any of the "DO this or that and you (might) be saved" religions of countless varieties say, but instead come to God / Jesus Christ's truth of "it is DONE by what He did on the cross at Calvary", judging our sin on the cross and we can receive that forgiveness by faith. *And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.* Acts 2:21

How is that wholesome? It's just part of life. Most infants of all species don't immediately spring into action, it takes a little bit. That's hardly wholesome for the worrying mother with predators about, or the human mother waiting to hear the first cries or wondering if they delivered a stillborn. That stress is the opposite of wholesome.

A lot of their minds were blown because in a lot of cases she was the first non-asian person they had ever seen. On one occasion the sight of her for the first time actually startled a young kid. It was so interesting and kinda cool having my mom be the first person who looked vastly different from those kids that they had ever seen.

0:42 As an African American here in the U.S., I recall the same thing walking around China in Sichuan as a foreign exchange student in the summer of 2019. Walking out of the apartment was quite the trip; people would take double takes as I walked down the street with my host brother for the first few days we went out. Something funny to me, is that while I was staying there for a month I hadn’t seen another African-American or person of color for about three weeks at one point. When we went to a panda zoo / sanctuary of sorts in a different city, I had gotten so used to seeing Chinese people always that I myself had to do a double take when we strolled by an elderly black couple at the zoo. Reverse culture shocked.

@@Dubs22005 I'm afraid that I can neither confirm nor deny the possibility of the sentiment in that series of videos. All the people who I interacted with in the setting were fairly friendly individuals who treated us well and allowed us to approach their culture with what felt pure and good-natured enthusiasm. However, in discussions with my host brother, he did express some concerns over the state of his country on topics such as the treatment of other races and the respect of the sovereignty of other countries. At the time, the topic of discussion was Hong Kong, While my experience with everyone was quite pleasant and positively memorable, I understand the grave potential of such treatment that may be imbued societally within.

The Chinese staring is something I always hated when I lived there. I wasn't in a little back-woods village either, it was a city about the size of NYC and there were plenty of other foreigners. It got to the point where I hated leaving my apartment because I hated being stared at, having my picture taken, being followed around the store to see what I was buying, etc. It's like being followed by the paparazzi but with none of the benefits being famous brings.

My cousin and I went to China. We are both over 6 feet tall and could see each other over the heads of everyone even in large crowds. Anyone who spoke English (a surprisingly high amount of people) would say hello and ask how we are. We had a bunch of Australian coins left in our wallets and we would give them to local kids and they would act like it was Christmas 😂
@Bendoughver
@Bendoughver Жыл бұрын
Really depends on where you go. South China can be a little on the smaller side while north China is just as tall as many European countries. I'm also over 6 feet and didn't find many people were interested in me other than trying to practice their English lol. We stayed around Chongqing which doesn't have many foreigners and my travel companion was a ginger and people were losing their minds. I took probably 100+ photos of people just handing me their phone, we got multiple babies given to us to hold. I remember talking some Chinese to a group of little kids and them running their parents and then running back after every single word I said it was hilarious but It was one of most strange experiences in my life.
@chomes8048
@chomes8048 Жыл бұрын
@@Bendoughver omg that sounds hilarious. We were 100% tourist area (Beijing and Shanghai) so that could be why we had such different experiences. I can't believe people gave you their babies haha, ginger celebrity 😂. In Beijing we had a taxi driver take us in to the city which was a long drive that involved blind lane changes, the horn instead of an indicator ans even crossing over to the wrong lane to dodge some traffic while we sat in the back expecting death. Then when we arrived and tried to pay the driver he said "no, ill wait for you, you pay me then." We said we will be gone for a long time and he said "I'll wait". Sure enough after about 6-7 hours he was still waiting for us to take us back. We also walked around Shanghai for a day too. We were just stopping over for a few days on our trip from Australia to Canada. But I would love to go back one day and do some non tourist places. When was your trip? Mine was 2009 so Beijing still had lots of decorations up from the Olympics.

Folks…this is called a “dummy foal” and often happens when born breech or for other reasons they don’t get “squeezed” properly in the birth canal. Essentially it’s like they don’t know they have been born, so their brains don’t tell them to stand and nurse. The way you fix this is by squeezing them tightly around the rib cage for several minutes. You will see them suddenly “wake up” and act normal. It’s a strange phenomenon with horses.

The fighter was completely obliterated; the only piece that survived the crash was a wingtip that missed the concrete block. The only damage to the concrete block was 2.36 inches(60 mm) of scarring. The structural damage was minimal. The block was pushed 6 feet rearward, though.

I came over and help him and figured out what he was asking with simple words and gestures and got him the product he needed.
