That first meme coming from a man who did Batman v Superman for the sole purpose of putting in cool shots from the Dark Knight Returns without any context that gave those scenes meaning. Christ, no wonder the DCEU tanked with that kind of thinking.
Thomas Wayne is the only Batman who is allowed to kill in my eyes.

Imma be honest, I don't really understand why people keep questioning if Batman is a good person, and its usually one or two of the same arguments 1. He should just kill criminals 2. he only uses his money to be Batman, not anything else Although its not in EVERY single depiction, the best versions of him (which from what I've heard were BTAS & the Justice League), he's actually neither of those. He specifically doesn't kill criminals because he absolutely values life, and very much believes that people can be better, which has actually happened MULTIPLE times across different depictions. One of the easiest to list is Catwoman, who does occasionally revert back to crime, but is mostly viewed as a decent person for the most part. In Arkham Knight, Poison Ivy actually does sacrifice herself in the end and does (kinda) become good. Harley Quinn is an incredibly major one as she's mainly abused by the Joker and eventually is convinced to leave him and occasionally starts helping Batman, such as in Injustice 2. one of the last ones I can name is in BTAS, where the Ventriloquist actually gets help for his condition and even eventually starts working for Bruce Wayne as an employee. To be fair, I see where people are coming from when they say Batman should kill his criminals, but most people forget why the rule's in place in the first place. The second one is also a thing people usually get wrong, although this I can also see as its not usually seen as much as the "No-kill rule". In some depictions, Namely BTAS, he's actually shown to be a fairly decent Businessman, especially compared to others in Gotham, who are a lot more like what people expect from rich billionaires. He usually just tries to use his money to better Gotham however he can, both as Bruce and as Batman. He primarily tries buying business's that will give Gotham a lot more jobs and try to prevent crime, not just by beating up criminals, but by also making the conditions that lead to crime, like poverty, better. He also, funnily enough, had made hospitals and even places for his ex-adversaries to stay while getting better. Not to say that EVERY Billionaire is a good person (hell in the real world, it could possibly be the opposite), but its more accurate to say that Bruce Wayne is what billionaires SHOULD be.

And Batman does his "job" (which isn't even a real job for him as he's a vigilante) and puts the criminals behind bars. It's the justice system that allows people to break out and keep on making havoc. He's not judge, jury and executioner, thats for the government to be and yet they keep on failing.

@@soaringraven0 I honestly kinda wanna see how Arkham and Blackgate (which is where normal criminals actually go, like Deadshot, Boomerang, Lex Luthor, etc. ) actually work, you'd think that after just 1 breakout they would try to heighten security the best they can. With Arkham it kinda makes a bit more sense since its an Asylum, not a prison like Blackgate. the Purpose of Arkham is to treat the specifically mentally ill criminals, not to simply separate them from society, so I imagine it would be a lot easier to break out than Blackgate.
