It's not the designs themselves that suck now... it's the stupid bubbly style- for example, alolan raichu is made up of actual circles, and it just looks awful, I hate the rounded, over-bubbled look for most Pokémon, and rather prefer the more primal looking style with sharp angles and stark colors. The original drawings, though a tad wonky, were perfect representations of each 'mon in such a style, and I just wish they retained it, as they're all looking out of place now. You can't tell me pidgey and rookidee look like they're from the same universe, let alone game series..

Its not thatbthey arent original they arent logical from a theoreticsl biological stand point or they are simply ugly Like yes i get they arenpokemon but havin wheels as body partsnin the middle of the body follows no logic biological evolousion if it needs to turn it can not be part of the pokemon it self it needs to be loosely hooked onto an axes it also means it would take away space for inner organs Just as one example The goat pokemon from x and y on the other hand makes a lotnoff sense so do rapidash and mudsdale The issue with rapidashes fire is explaoned lore whise But for the knew " legendarys* and the other lizzsrd there is nothing that could explain the physics behind this In other words they never put any real thought into it and simply wanted an excute to not animate riding for about 50 diffrent pokemon wherebit would be logical size whise
