I challenge you to find anyone in Europe who finds it hard to drive. I find it hilarious to be honest, every time Damon tries to explain how you have to use the clutch in the CGT I'm just thinking "So....Exactly how I was taught when I was first learning to drive" To be fair, we learn very differently than in the US, and I have no idea how Canadians learn. In the UK, the average person has 40-50 hours of driving lessons (Usually in a manual, you get a restricted licence if you do your test in an auto) before they take their test to be allowed to drive unsupervised

@@dyent Every owner says the same thing, the love the car and then they regret selling it; some will get another one but then sell it again for the same reason...the clutch. They don't want to devalue the car by saying this and take a huge loss on the investment. Everyone drives differently...but you learned the correct way, but driving around a track it quickly it would be so easy to shift a bit to quick and get on the gas a split second too early and you smell clutch burning. No way anyone could track that car competitively without burning that clutch out...it happens on all cars; but they don't all need a $40K usd engine out clutch job. I would love to drive one, but I would refuse to because of that cost and risk. It is incredibly impractical and that is why they never used that clutch ever again; and why they never built as many as they planned on either...because of lost sales from the clutch life issues. There were a few early adopters who didn't make it a month and they needed a new clutch when they first came out.

Diablo.... It's so classic. On one hand, seeing it completely tuned up, restored to the max, modifies exhaust and some amazing aesthetics inside and outside would be amazing.... On the other hand, I don't think there is any DDE Diablos.... Making it modern... Going nuts with it so it is absolutely one of a kind, would be incredible to see also... I wish you had two! Is there a way to do both? On the outside and interior completely restored, yet the mechanics and internals completely modernized like a "sleeper" 👀 that'd be kick ass and DDE that's for sure... Either way, make it one of a kind, uniquely DDE. Allow us as your followers to give input along the way too! Don't make it disappear for months, take us for the entire ride, then do a complete before and after. So excited!

Ooh I miss my little srt4 neon. It was making 450 at the boost I was running at but it was running fat tho. I just never turned the boost up all the way because I would daily it along with a super slow gas sipper. But everyone lived that car and I did too. I left it in my moms garage while I was away for a month and my youngest brother took it out without any coolant in it and drove it like it was normal and just melted it down. Even the turbo was basically melted stuck. I bought the new engine and turbo for it but didn’t have the time to fix it and everyone that I took it too backed out.

Check out NRE Nelson Racing Engines, Tom built a twin turbo V12 for a Diablo making over 1000hp. Unless you want to straight pipe it and make it sound wild and make it fast, consider pro-charging it with a centrifugal supercharger. Might need to build a custom-made CNC'd bracket to hold in place and mind as well get billet pulleys.

Can honestly say I like the white Diablo more than the yellow SV. I love the idea of taking it and modernizing the internals and definitely some externals to bring it into the modern era - custom headlights/taillights, exhaust. Bumper delete is cool as long as the exhaust gets tucked in closer. It looks terrible the way it is now from factory. However, would be a big fan of that build.

regarding the diablo, I dont know how hard it would be to do, but it would be great to have an aventador engine mated to a huracan dual clutch gearbox to get fast, quich shifts. either that or an aventador engine mated to a manual transmission from a gallardo or mercielago.

Definitely restomod the Diablo. It’s not a re-creation of the wheel, though I can understand that a younger audience doesn’t get throwing C4 Corvette parts underneath classic 60s muscle hah. I forget the channel but they took a “250 GTO” tribute Ferrari and added a 550/575 Maranello drivetrain. Epic. Also - please please keep it manual, even if you have to use an alternate gearbox.
