HELPFUL ADVICE: I don’t think the cat overtemp warning was an electrical issue. You’re shooting flames onto the cat temp probes (aftermarket exhaust I believe with small or no cats) in an already hot environment. Temp probe spacers would help remove the probes from the direct path of the flames while still providing an accurate temp reading that isn’t thrown off by temp spikes from the flames. The temp probe sensors on the aventador have unique thread counts (two front and two rear, fronts are smaller than the rear). If you want more info, feel free to reach out.

Guys, just change the watch battery in the remote for those "key not recognized" and put a standard pulley on your alternator and remove the stupid clutched one. The cars catalyst is overheating cause Damon is shifting into a higher gear then to a lower gear doing a pull then shifting up then shifting down again and doing another pull and is doing that over and over again. It’s very clearly hard on the car. And not only that it’s shooting flames so there’s so much heat going through it constantly. When the over temp comes on shift it into a higher gear and just cruise for awhile to give it time to cool down.

Dave may have solved the SVJ problem....PUT A NEW HARNESS IN, I didn't think about it before, but the things that are happening are the random but the same every time, what i mean is its the same random stuff over and over. It has to be some corrosion or broken wires or both. PLEASE CHECK INTO THIS!!! I believe it will fix it. Also when its going fast its forcing the wires to send more current through them, when its slow it doesn't. I truly believe its something wrong with the harness. DDE FOR LIFE!!! Remember you have the same problems the battery gets messed up every time you put a new one in, thats something arching cause those batteries to get dead cells in them. Then once that happens it causes issues with the transmission, and now the go back and forth between each other. There is some loose or broken or corrosion wires in that SVJ harness, I promise you that.

The only issue i have is that you guys just always seem unprepared to deal with situations while there. I mean, not having a jump pack or jumping cables? Comon brother.... lol. Pretty sure you can find that locally if you had to, or at least bring common things you'd think you might need with you. Spare oil filter, a medium set of tools to work on the car if you have to, jumper cables... sounds like an at minimum tool kit to bring wouldnt you think? Its not like you guys cant afford it with all the merch you sell. Make better content by being prepared or at lease putting in the appearance of an effort instead of making it a whole issue you couldnt jump your car while there....

Like they didnt even think to replace the battery & capacitor beforehand.. let alone bring jumper cables and/or a battery jump pack? Its insane. Ive never even went on a US roadtrip without some hand tools, fix a flat/spare tire, a jack, tire inflator, jumper cables, code reader, zip ties etc. But then again, I actually know what Im doing & how to troubleshoot/fix my cars😅

Take a year off…. This is the 25th year of gumball. You thought they were missing this?? Also this isn’t an old problem. The old problem was the transmission. It had nothing to do with the battery ironically. Also y’all have to remember this car is a Canadian car in America. To get the paperwork for this even took a month. They couldn’t not take the car again by time it came time for the car to be shipped out.
