Crazy part is most of the people driving in your video also have summer tires on vehicles. In the late 1979 I remembered searching Victoria for Winter Tires and could not buy them. The city sand truck was a 3/4 ton pickup with a guy shoveling sand on the road. I was in a cab at 4:00 am and at Fort & Douglas or on Hillside on route to airport to fly to NS for Christmas. I love Victoria, BC.

You should mark those tires on the inside with left or right with caulk or white grease pencil, that way you can see at night. The other thing is you could have just put on the back tires then drive in the shop to do the fronts, so your not in the wet snowy weather as long.

You should have a set of snow socks for emergencies on your cars, they are relatively easy to put on, not to expensive for what they do and work great, at least until you can change tires! I think they are available for your tires size! Best regards.
