Ukrainian defenders destroy Russian BMPs during a battle near Robotyne

Russia launched an unsuccessful attack on the town of Robotyne, in the south of Ukraine which was blown to pieces by artillery and FPV drones. Russian footage of the assault shows troops of the 42nd Motor Rifle Division charging into battle on top of their BMP fighting vehicles, as they quickly come under attack by Ukrainian troop concealed in the rubble of houses. First-person footage taken from the Ukrainian side shows territorial defence troops bringing up rocket launchers from the basement of a wrecked home and firing at the incoming vehicles, scoring several hits on them. #russia #ukraine #war

the footage was obtained from the UDF units themselves. You can see Orc BMP's drive towards and past burnt out Ukrainian APC's meaning they are driving towards Ukrainian forces. You can also see Ukrainian troops firing rockets at those vehicles, unless they are firing on their own troops to try and fool people like you. You don't have to be a genius to figure things out Orc fan

The initial two BMP's were a recon probe. Once the troops were dropped off, the BMP's withdrew and a second recon element then did the same. Then the Ruzzians sent a wave of armored forces to consolidate what the recon mission showed was weak resistance..... only to have that larger force destroyed and beaten back by FPV drones, artillery laid minefields, artillery and ATGMs.... The dropped off units were destroyed when their ammunition ran out. This footage is from several months ago

After months of resisting for a village that they got in their failed offensive. The Ukrainian command finally decided that it must let go of Robotyne and retreat to Orikhiv. Russians have taken back Robotyne. Thousands of troops and lots of equipments from both sides were lost in this town. After Ukrainians captured it, their commander boasted and says that their advance will be more faster. But as it turns out they can't advance passed Robotyne and they got stuck in a stalemate battle until they Finally break and give up Robotyne.

Since the Ukraine has always used russian-built vehicles in its military (for very obvious reasons) it is pretty easy for them to make propaganda videos of this type... which mean nothing. I would say the easiest way to predict the outcome of this whole sorry affair is to look at the reports coming from the eastern Ukraine, where they are currently losing a couple villages (or more) PER DAY and the ukrainian lines are in total disarray. End of the war by this summer.
