I've always been amused by the practice of bodyguards running next to the vehicle. All an assassin has to do is act after a few miles, by that time the bodyguards will be too exhausted to even pull the trigger, if they haven't keeled over due to overheating.

It's one of the few jobs that actually pays decent and makes sure you have food so you can be healthy enough to protect the leader. I was stationed in South Korea quite a few decades ago and I can tell you that anything that pays and guarantees you food in the north is well worth the effort.
