When Mr. Depp was late to set, it was after Dr. Kipper started treatment for the addictions. Different medicines can make it difficult to wake up. The sleeping pill Amber took in Australia was seroquel which is a mood stabilizer, but causes drowsiness, and can make waking up difficult. Johnny was probably put on seroquel as well....

In the recordings Amber always uses distancing language to cover her tracks until she loses it because she can't control her rage. Violence is never okay. Ever! I was in a very abusive relationship and ran underground for my life. It was a program to help women escape. After meeting his family I could see where he got it from and it gave me new perspective and why he was so messed up. These two clearly need help. Poor Johnny the abuse he endured as a child I believe brought addiction to his life and subconsciously an abusive women. Amber clearly saw some in her upbringing. Both guilty of DV! Toxic relationship and both knew how to hurt the other! However, the strangling - definitely lying! Having been a victim of DV and suffered strangulation I can tell you it is terrifying, and the injuries after are horrendous! I don’t believe that one bit!
