Thrift flip and Ikea doll bed hack, DIY doll bed blanket and pillow set.

This week I have two DIYs in one. I have a thrift flip and Ikea doll bed hack. I am thrift flipping this second-hand children's play market. I gave it a paint job and I am showing how to stitch a new canopy for it.
I also recycled this old Duktig Ikea doll bed. I found this bed when I was decluttering last week. I replayed the broken base of the Ikea doll bed and stitched a new blanket. Blondie, however, is now using the Duktig IKEA bed like a cat bed lol!
*** The measurements for the blanket are 18 inches X 18 inches. The pillows are 6 inches X 4 inches, however, you could make the pillows bigger. This is a nice easy sewing project for beginners.

I really enjoyed this DIY my youngest grandchild is 5 and a boy I think he would love the little market. I made a kangaroo pouch to send off to Australia but I haven't been able to get a proper address because it came back once and I don't want that to happen again I also made koala mitts which they no longer need.

I love making things for my four grandchildren. To make a doll bed for my 2 year old granddaughter (who has much smaller baby dolls). I took a small, sturdy cardboard box, covered it with a layer of fleece, then fabric (using my glue gun). I folded the fleece up to make the cushion, then made a blanket and pillow! All from my fabric stash, so it was free!
