I'm not generally a fan of baby blue inks, but I like this one. It looks good on all papers. Only drawback is the slight pink, but that's not really seen when writing with it. I suppose what I most like is that it leans gray. This reminds me so much of the typical color balance I get when photographing snow; I have to do color correction to get the blue out. So this ink feels snowy cold and clean. Thank you.

I think inks that have a hint of pink are popular in Japan. I am one of them, and the appeal of this ink is its base blue-grey color. It's perfect for the upcoming season!

King Grub Beetle 🪲 👑: His Highness should have a beautiful, dreamy blue all his own. Japanese inkmakers are so creative, both in their colors and names. I love fun ink names and just bought a Papier Plume ink (New Orleans) called Honey Island Swamp Monster - a moss green color. There's a swamp in Louisiana called Honey Island that has it's own Bigfoot or Sasquatch monster legend. I confess that I bought it just for the name and the monster figure stamp on the lid's wax. I'm sinking fast into the ink swamp 😂😂😂

Wow! That's interesting!! I searched for Honey Island Swamp Monster and found that it was my favorite color! I love the deep green color. An ink with a funny name, I think I'm going to get hooked too lol I've never heard of Papier Plume before. Thank you for sharing this fun information!😆
