Dairugger XV KO

A pretty nice quality knock off of the Dairugger 15 aka Vehicle Voltron. Picked this up at Tuesday Morning for $6

Cars in space is how I remember this specific combiner, although if I do ever find one the idea as traffic fodder for Metroplex is a good idea

I vaguely remember having one of these as a kid. Very similar size but it had die-cast parts and didn't come apart other than the red jet coming off. I thought it sucked at the time because it didn't do anything. This looks really great for what it is. Cheers Dan.

What's with the echo? Or maybe it my speakers. I love voltron. Nice review. I really hope this design gets revisited with modern toy engineering. The play factor is high on this character.

The miracle productions is expensive and has it's flaws, but i would pick it up in a milisecond if i had the cash!

Is it possibly a KO of a smaller legit Voltron figure which didn't full disassemble, similar to the mini-Megazord toys? As always Dan you show off some great pieces!

There's a few vintage toys it could be from, my guess is the @8" die cast version i had as a kid but who knows.. Some metal would make this thing feel so much better!

Woah "mines on the way" ..? Does that mean I can acquire one of these for myself? REALLY cool figure of Voltron #1 (I think wasnt Dairugger originally #1 out of the 3? With Lions being #3?) Regardless of the answer I'm so pumped for the VOLTRON EX coming in quarter 3. I have it pre ordered I'm curious are you going to be getting that as well? And before I forget can u tell me how to get one of these knock offs? Thanks buddy

the EX looks really good, but I've never been a big GoLion guy, the Vehicle Voltron was always my jam! and I got this KO at the store Tuesday morning, but I've seen them all over eBay and sirtoys from time to time..

***** "tuesday morning" lol either I'm lost or that's autocorrect at its best? Since Tuesday was way sooner then the aforementioned 2014 that this video was put up. My mistake not looking at that first. Its funny bc after watching this video yesterday I found a KZbin channel called VOLTRON and watched episode #1 of Dairugger (spelling?) & it was awesome! I love hoe they have the same music as VOLTRON and Peter Cullen was the commander as well as the narrator still like the lions toon. It definitely gave me a lot of love I never knew for the Vehicles. I think it was probably easier for USA kids to follow a set of 5 characters rather then a whole force of them like as in Vehicle Voltron/Dairugger. I'd like to see SOUL OF CHOGOKIN do both of the characters. And I know you said you never had much love for VOLTRON lions but have u seen the new trailer for netflix's Voltron show coming in June? Really cool for the adult fans fo'sho

I got this for the sword. I'm thinking of making a super diruger wherein all vehicles can transform into robots :D
