I always thought it was weird that life during wartime got in the collection long before happiness. Seeing it get announced today, I’ve never pre-ordered a movie faster. Now my friends can think I’m a disgusting freak for loving this movie (in 4K)

I’m just happy mostly that All of us strangers is getting not only an official blu ray, but a 4K as well. This was one of my favorite films of 2023 and I was worried the movie might’ve never get a release due to the shift of direction from 20th century studios. Either way, I’m just so happy that I can official own this great movie and one of the better LGBT movies I’ve watched

I legitimately screamed when I saw The Long Good Friday will be released. It's one of my favorite movies, plus it was out of print, so having it come back is incredible. I already own Repo Man, so I won't be getting one. I already pre-ordered LGF.

All of us strangers has just had a bluray release here in the UK. Just got The Long Good Friday 4k, pleased about Gregg Araki and Todd Solondz releases. Repo man will be a nice upgrade.

The only film I have seen/own out of these titles is *Repo Man* but you brought me so much excitement to look into the other films like you always do! I'm most looking forward to *The Long Good Friday* . It has always caught my eye when I've looked at the earlier titles in the Criterion collection. I love the different flavor a British gangster film can add to the genre. I wonder how it compares to the film *Mona Lisa* that also stars Bob Hoskins? At any rate, I hope you have an awesome time visiting these films when you receive them. In the meantime, I hope and pray the Beppu family are having the best of times together in Nevada as well as a beautiful start to Summer 2024! My favorite season! Cheers, my friend! 🌞

I love REPO MAN but I will wait for reviews to see how significant the 4K upgrade is from their Blu Ray release. I bought the Shaft 4K release and was comparing it on my 4K ready Sony with my old snapper case Warner's DVD (especially some darker indoor sequences) and while you could 'see' a difference it was not profound or life changing IMO. Maybe this is just the case with most 20th Century movies, or blame my gear I don't know. I could, for sure see the difference between between the Blu Ray and the 4K editions of the Universal release of The Trouble with Harry, so I know it's possible, but for something like, for example Criterion's Rules of the Game, there wasn't really any point in even upgrading to the Blue ray imo, so while I respect your enthusiasm and ability to cheerlead for the company's product I'll be waiting for actual reviews before making any preorders. That said I really do enjoy your positivity and love of the medium. Thank you for all your efforts.
