Daisy Shaped Cookies Painted with Simple & Easy Vines and Blossoms. This daisy cookie is an excellent size for a whole range of designs! It's a 2 inch cookie which makes it the perfect size to compliment other cookies on your serving platter. Today I've done a simple vine with blossoms. I used 2 brushes; my Script Liner and one of my Spotters. And yes, that's BLACK for the vines! Why not! I love the way the black and pinks look together. But this simple design lends itself to all sorts of colour combinations so be sure to "mix it up" because different colour combinations with the same design makes the cookies all look unique! Stun your guests with your cookie painting prowess!

Thank you so much, Melouka! I've bought a few Spotter brushes from Michaels Canada, but please be careful - they have a range of qualities and when I was just starting out, I was buying cheaper ones because I didn't know the difference. I hope this helps! Love, Elaine

Hi Susan! Thank you so much for your kind words, they mean a lot to me! I use a number of small brushes, most of which came in crappy packages that I would never recommend. Sooo, it's best to invest in a good quality watercolour or mixed media brush from your local art store. I've had too many disappointments with orders from Amazon, so I primarily shop at Michael's and DeSerres. Good luck!! Love, Elaine

Hi SS! Have a look at Michaels, it's an arts & crafts store. Some of there products are good quality, some aren't. So be careful, LOL! I also buy from DeSerres, it's an art store that has excellent quality products. Just be sure to stay away from cheap brushes - they won't give good points or edges, and they will shed their bristles - so frustrating... Good luck! Love, Elaine

Hi Sawsan! Big hugs to you from Canada! You can use water, no worries, it works the same way but takes a bit longer to evaporate so just make sure what you're painting dries completely before you continue painting in that area. Ask if you have more questions! Love, Elaine
