You are amazing...Daisy. I found myself just watching this video over and over again...and I'm thinking that you always impress me with your visual arts skills. I'm watching this video...over and over again...and my mouth is just agape. I'm thinking this is so incredible with the limited budget that you have...and your actual visual performance in the video is really excellent. Then after that I'm listening to your interpretation of the song...and it's completely different from the original...it's completely your own take on it...and it is a really good original interpretation on this song...and then I'm listening to your production as a recording artist...and it's so well produced with the strings and cymbal crashes. So much of 21st century music has harsh transient sounds in them...and I think to myself...I wish people would use...peak limiting...compression technique to tame their transients...and there is nothing harsh in this recording...it's extremely advanced work as a recording artist...and then the singing is as good as it always is. Daisy...you're in a zone right now where you are putting out some very professional work. You've learned how to do this kind of professional work...and you're not very old to learn this kind of professionalism. It's very impressive. It's something that an artist should do...[this level of professionalism]...but most artist never get this skilled. You're doing the right thing to get to this knowledge level as a musician and recording artist...it's just most recording artist do not build their skills to this level. Keep on building the artistic skills you don't have...that you realize you need...but what you have right now is impressive. I love what you're doing. It's really fantastic. I've been working on trying to get a thorough background on understanding EQ and other odds and ends in production. I'm finding that there is still some knowledge on compressors that I still need to build up...and I need to understand Expanders and Gates...as well as...Delays and Reverbs...which I have some knowledge on...but I just need to figure out which plugins I like sound wise the best. I have kind of...Dog Ears...so I'm usually pretty good at figuring those things out...but I just need to put in the time. I'm also trying to figure out which...Dynamic EQ's...I like [so far I like...TDR Nova]...and I'm also trying to figure out which De-essor plugin I like best...for Front Of House...Live performances...I will probable Automate my Esses in my recordings unless I prefer the De-essor sonically. An early recording I've found in 2021 is an indie singer/songwriter from Austin, Texas that has an adorable and fun song: Dayglow - Close To You Keep fighting for your career...Daisy Wishing...you...your family...and friends...a safe year.
