In 2015, I posted a cover of Chris Isaac's 'Wicked Game' on KZbin and never could have dreamed of the love and support I've gotten on the track over the last 5 years. As a token of my appreciation, I've put my own spin on Chris Isaak's original music video from 1989. Hope you enjoy :)

Special song for sure…we had a dancer, 16 years old, she did a solo competition dance to this song. She was such an amazingly beautiful dancer, and a wonderful old soul. So pretty, so funny…2 months after she kicked everyone’s butt at the competition she was on a safari in Africa with her family, traveling down a River, and was pulled from the boat by a crocodile and killed. At Katies funeral they played a video of her and this dance from the competition played. It was amazing at the competition. It was haunting and surreal at her funeral…every time I hear this song in any form I cry for Katie

I know I’m late to the game, but two things: yes, best version of this song I’ve ever heard. And the gorgeous woman smoking during the video to me was a perfect representation of how all we want vs. need to see ourselves. Beautiful but flawed and we are forced to hide it. Agree with the beauty of the song, but I lived through the 60's and 70's and cigarettes are not nostalgic at all. They are an ugly disgusting addictive habit that killed more people than all the wars since the beginning of time. Glorifying it with this song is exactly how it was done in the 60's and 70's to attract young people to the concept that the "cool" people smoked.
