This made me realize that I wish there were more scenes of current elders talking to youngsters about the forest, about Firestar, about BloodClan...you'd think with how Brashstar was acting there would be scenes of Graystripe especially commenting on his leadership. They do have those like ONCE in a while but....not enough for it to feel like "oh yeah these people are elders now."

I did appreciate the scene in Veil of Shadows where Greystripe calls out Fakestar's leadership. I especially like how he comments on how much better of a leader Firestar was. I wish Firestar were generally mentioned more in recent books, but it's also good how they're moving forward. Anyway, I agree with you.

Speaking of the warrior code, anyone else remember how in Bramblestar's Storm they added a new rule that said that the Clans needed to stay united and how they couldn't all gang up on one and drive them out and stuff? And how they broke that rule like a year later in A Vision of Shadows? Actually, they broke it multiple times in AVoS: when Onestar closed his borders and refused to give the lungwort to ShadowClan, when Onestar closed his borders and refused to help the other Clans drive out Darktail, and then when no Clan would stand up and they all just let SkyClan be driven out again in the Raging Storm. That also technically means every cat in the lake (except for Leafstar and SkyClan) are codebreakers because they did those things/let SkyClan be driven out. So I guess pretty much 2/3 of the cats at the lake during TBC (excluding SkyClan and cats who weren't alive then) should be exiled.
