And her motives make sense and aren't just "I want more power". She was tricked by an outsider (Darktail), which made her distrust all outsiders, and it's really easy to see her viewing herself as a hero. After all she's keeping out these 'dangerous' outsiders, right? Easily my favorite character this arc.

What's kind of sad is that Ivypool actually seems supportive of Sunbeam in the actual book (or at least trying to give her a chance) but we still haven't gotten a satisfying scene where she acknowledges she's been her harsh on own Clan-switching sister (when Dovewing is present and gets to hear her apology, I mean). And that's without getting into all the other things Ivypool never acknowledged before that. Oh well, maybe in her super edition.....
