This is just the initial use of the japan’s version of the Daiwa Alphas Sv tw 800s with the modified diy spool. If you own that model can you leave a comment I have a few questions for you. In this video I’m casting around 1.1 gram Nikkobaits waxworm. We all know how well it handle 4 grams with the standard spool. It’s been modified testing time. I wanted another Daiwa Alphas Sv tw 800s to throw in the mix. Lets see how this reel does casting

Great Video.. new subscriber ! I'm late to the party ! But I have the Alphas SV TW 800-S on a Fenwick Elite Bass 6' 10" m/l rod, I'm running 8# P-Line "original" co-polymer, put in some hybrid ceramic bearings & a clicking drag ! I use it for finesse jigs, Ned rigs, 3"-4" soft paddle tail swimbaits. 3"-4" wacky Senko's , etc.. Great combo !! It's a bit more stout than BFS. I have BFS gear as well ! I also run a Salamandura SV TW 70 on a Fenwick 6' 10" m/l Techna PX rod, another Great Combo !! keep up the great work !!

@@The_Multi-species_Angler largemouth , smallmouth & spotted bass.. however when throwing lighter stuff on BFS gear.. trout, crappie, perch & bluegill get in the mix, even though I'm targeting bass. I have a couple of Soloking Acura's & a couple Kingdom Micro Monsters. Also have a Daiwa Coastal 80 & Tatula 80, both with BFS spools & hybrid bearings, Tatula has a drag clicker kit.
