Hi Japan Fishing Tackle News . Can you compare the Daiwa 21 SW 5000 and Daiwa 24 Certate 5000 , which one the best and which one good for catching fishing on the beach . Please let me know . Thank you for yoyr time .
@jpfishingtacklenews1956 ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment :) I haven't compared exactly of those 2 sizes, but has different sizes, and if I were you, I would use 24 Certate 5000 from beach fishing. It has still good enough strength, and the AIRDRIVE rotor is pretty good and the bail solidly opens and closes to keep casting, comparing to Cert.SW, the Air Drive rotor is much heavier but the bail spring is weaker. Moreover, I felt the 24 Cert AIRDRIVE rotor is more rigid than other models such as Airity, Exist even though those are all made by ZAION.

@@TuanMinhPhu I see, checked your rod speck and seems like that's really heavy one that can cast up to 85g, then sounds like 23 SALTIGA may be balanced better with that. Moreover you feel 24 Certate is too small, then sounds like SALTIGA is better match-up.

do you prefer this or the twinpower?
@jpfishingtacklenews1952 жыл бұрын
Hi! It really depends what you like.. For me I'd prefer TP SW as I am used to use SHIMANO reels but difference is really little, so if you are used with DAIWA reel then this Certate SW could be a good choice.
@ziedboudrigua42502 жыл бұрын
HELLO Thanks for the nice video. Could you tell us what's the small difference between TP and Certate? I have the feeling that the line retrieving is smoother with certate but when it comes to drag...I have the feeling that TP is better... am I wrong? Thanks
@jpfishingtacklenews1952 жыл бұрын
@@ziedboudrigua4250 Hi! It's so great to hear that! This is all from my opinion, but when you retrieve Certate is slightly lighter than TP, maybe because the rotor is lighter. But when you hook fish, I felt TP SW is slightly stronger in torque. Not really sure why, it could just be because the rotor is stronger than ZAION rotor, or could be Infinity Drive. But that is totally which brand you prefer, purely Certate is DAIWA-like, TP is SHIMANO-like. Dragwise, I reckon that comes from difference of their drag system. SHIMANO's drag basically gives the even - same tension constantly when fighting. Against that, DAIWA's ATD drag system is more automatically changing, like when hooking the drag is stronger, but when fighting I feel it's a bit more loose than SHIMANO's drag, so even if your drag is full-locked, 10kg+ kingfish can drag the line out, although TP wouldn't do that much.
@ziedboudrigua42502 жыл бұрын
@@jpfishingtacklenews195 Thanks a lot for your quick and consistent reply... Honestly I use both Daiwa and Shimano gears... I consider that it depends of the fishing target then it depends of the performances offered by the relevant models of each brand .... For example, I preferred Certate lt ark for Sea Bass... For Tuna and Big Game, If I skip both Saltiga and Stella, I would go for Twin Power, for the same reasons you already explained. Furthermore, the spool of TP seems to be more robust than the Certate and also the heatsink within Twinpower drag system... gives feeling that it's more robust and it provides more security...
@jpfishingtacklenews1952 жыл бұрын
@@ziedboudrigua4250 Hi, I see! Then if you say about "which is prefer" thing then it'll really depends on what you are after, I understand about your preference, altought I normally use TwinPower XD for seabass fishing but is quite similar to Certate LT. I'd just use TwinPower SW more often for kingfish / amberjack / grouper fishing as you normally tighten the drag and wind them up as quick as possible to prevent linebreak by structures, as they go down to structures as soon as they get hooked, and this is because I feel TPSW is slightly stronger in torque as already explained. Certate SW is still really strong as I have described in this movie so should not be worried too much though. Heatsink drag on TP/Stella is yes, that's really nice feature that can reduce drag heating really well, although I have just used them for jigging not for tuna type of fishing. I just think SHIMANO's drag locks solid.

Shimano twin power sw or Daiwa certate sw?
@jpfishingtacklenews1958 ай бұрын
Hi, it again depends on your preference and what you are after. I would personally use TP SW for most of type as I feel that's stronger than Certate SW, but Certate rotor is absolutely lighter than TP's, so real easy to stop n go type of reeling action. So, Certate is easier to make action on vertical jigging to me, than TP. I would select TP just because I won't only use this for jigging but for variety of fishing. However, if you compare to the smaller size like #4000-#6000, there may be the case to select Certate SW.

@@jpfishingtacklenews195 I’m mainly planning to use 5000 size for shore jigging use but the noise of the rotor and that cheap drag look inside the Certate spool makes me think twice.

Hmm I see. I think it's really important that you love your reel while using, so if you think that way then I think TP can be better choice to you :)

great presentation poor performance advertisement that is 🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐🥀💖🥀💖🥀🥀🥀🥀🥀 you did not describe the gearing machine aluminum bronze 😳😳😳😳😳😳⚒️
@jpfishingtacklenews1956 ай бұрын
I am afraid but this is not for advertising, it is a review from one of our staff. Certate SW main gears are made by G1 Duralumin, which is aluminium based alloy metal, that includes bronze as you mentioned but not only that, and DAIWA says G1 is even stronger than super ultra duralumin. Just from the spec, but at least I fought with 30+ kingfish with this and no issue on the gear so far.
