A very big change from Daiwa 🎉
@jpfishingtacklenews1957 сағат бұрын
Yes for sure, and that's the DAIWA's company characteristic and love it :)

And there’s me about to buy the current model . Looks like I’ll be waiting a little longer for my new toy
@jpfishingtacklenews1957 сағат бұрын
Ah! Haha, but yeah maybe, the 2020 model can be pricing down when it's out next year :)

Feels like the parallel beams supporting gear is more stable. Yea the new roller oscillation guide bearing works and reduces weight. But a worm drive always pushes outward so more stress is put on cover without the parralel pole Its heavier then last version but we see all extra cut in spool to reduce weight
@jpfishingtacklenews1957 сағат бұрын
Thank you very much for letting us know that :) Surely it's mechanically a big change, and the enlarged gears with extra parts inside gained its weight but I see that's the reason of the design. We'll see how it is updated when it's out :)

Hello! Is it good for rock fishing/shore jigging?
@aurelianobuendia536013 сағат бұрын
It is designed for shore jigging and super power fishing. If you want somwthing cheaper go for Van Staal.
@felixklassen91878 сағат бұрын
Of course
@jpfishingtacklenews1957 сағат бұрын
Well see how it feels when it's out but that's one of the main target of this reel for, so technically yes of course :) The smallest size is 8000P/H, 670/680g, so if that meets your requirements then it should be good for it.
@hadus152017 минут бұрын
I would say it depends on what u wanna do If u are more into Ultra Light or light Rock Fishing a better choice would be the daiwa exist 22 LT or Shimano Stella/Vanquish but If u are more into heavier Fishing Go for it!

so 25 will be no 4000 model?
@jpfishingtacklenews1952 сағат бұрын
Official says no, looks like they made them totally separated for smaller SW and larger SW. The min size is 8000 :)

Saltiga 14k.. 690 gram.. Too heavy
@jpfishingtacklenews1952 сағат бұрын
Well yeah that's really heavy. We'll see how it feels when it's out :)
@shorejiggerchris33649 сағат бұрын
Very heavy for jigging from shore at that expensive price.Oscilation system is like the 2010-2015 saltiga.Very long handles also makes the reel feel huge..totally 👎
@jpfishingtacklenews1957 сағат бұрын
Hmm I see. Personally I am very curios of this as it has the totally new oscillation system, of course new things can be better or worse, and yeah whole model gained their weight, so well, we'll see when it's out :)

I had the dogfight when it first came out. It was so heavy never touch Daiwa spinning reels again. Shimano’s is king
@jpfishingtacklenews1957 сағат бұрын
Ah I see, well that was a fairly heavy reels, as it's equivalent to Stella SW 20000 or slightly bigger. This new Saltiga is actually slightly heavier so clearly not for you then :)

😂 New design look kinda cheap im wonder new design can beat 2020 legend ? I hope 2025 have 2020 sound drag look a bout 2023 saltiga xh 😢
@jpfishingtacklenews1957 сағат бұрын
Well yes that looks more like 2023 SALTIGA hey, and I know it's not a good one for some. I am personally expecting it's a bit of in between 2020 and 2023, but yeah we'll tell how it is in our reviews when it's out :)
